Daniel Rich and Kaitlyn Dow have been friends for fifteen years, and playing an increasingly outlandish game of Truth or Dare for nearly as long. In love with her friend for longer than she’d like to admit, Kaitlyn prefers to hide in the safety of truths she can guide away from embarrassing secrets. While ladies’ man Daniel can’t help but push Kaitlyn’s boundaries with bolder, sexier dares every chance he gets in hopes that he can finally get his friend to notice how he feels. With her bed-and-breakfast overbooked, the two are forced to spend the night together. Under the twinkle of Christmas lights and the temptation of mistletoe, Daniel is ready to move their relationship to the next level. Kaitlyn suspects he’s still playing a game, and resigns herself to a one-night stand. But she’ll soon learn that Daniel is willing to risk any dare to get Kaitlyn to see the truth—that they belong together.
Sasha Devlin is way more interesting than this bio can make her sound! She also is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person so…
I’m a Midwestern gal born and raised, and I currently live in Chicago. I’ve not yet found the villain who is using his time machine against me, but when I do, the battle will be epic.
My current projects are firmly in the romance genre, with loads of sex and angst, but I know I can’t avoid those YA and Mystery plot bunnies forever.

Friends to lovers + a game of truth or dare + holidays = one satisfied reader
I thought the UST in the first half of the book was gonna kill me, but what a wonderful way to go. And when Sasha Devlin finally gives us what we've been waiting for, oh yes....it's certainly worth it!
This was a quick read and was the perfect end to my holiday reading binge this year.
If you haven't read Sasha Devlin yet, I highly recommend that you do!
Daniel’s Dare had some fantastic elements that I loved. The friends-to-lovers angle is a favorite of mine. The banter back and forth between the two was snappy and catching. All in all, a super-hot contemporary m/f romance that was right up my reading alley.
Also…the cover is definitely hot! Whew. Really got me in the mood to read on.

Review: Classic story, told perfectly…
I wish this author had written some of the full length novel stories with this central storyline. She did a much better job at everything in just a few pages. You can really feel Daniel's frustration with Kaitlyn, and her confusion and hopelessness over his behaviour. With the strong characters so well written, the chemistry makes the erotica more than just sex. This one is not safe for work because it's H-O-T and you will forget your surroundings. I'm definitely going to look for more from this author.

This is and easy read where you'll want it all in a single setting. While it feels like a snippet of a story, it is quite enjoyable. It also seemed to be more of a romance than erotica.
