Liv Spencer is the writing duo of Jen Knoch & Crissy Calhoun.

Jen Knoch is an editor at ECW Press and the founder of the Keepin’ it Real Book Club, where you’ll find her thoughts on books she reads and on other book-related adventures. Crissy Calhoun works with Jen at ECW Press, as its managing editor, and she also writes companion guides to The Vampire Diaries (the Love You to Death series).

One fine day while toiling at ECDubs HQ, Jen and Crissy decided they should join forces to write books together about subjects they love — hey, half the work, double the glory! — and Liv Spencer was born. (Fun fact: our pen name is a combo of Olivia and Spencer, the children of one of ECW’s pop-culture-minded bosses.)

Despite book-writing being kind of a heck of a lot of work, we can’t seem to stop — there’s nothing better than diving into something we’re fans of and emerging 60,000 words later looking a little haggard but feeling even more in love with our subject than when we pitched the idea to the editorial team at ECW. And once our little books go out into the world, it is the best, most nerve-wracking thing to hear what readers think!

Well, if you are any decent Twilight fan..this is a MUST read. It really was well written and was packed with interesting information about Stephenie Meyer, the books, the movies, the actors, the fans,etc etc! I might even have to buy it and add it to my collection. It was also full of lots of photos. And I just never tire of seeing Rob's beautiful face ; ) TEAM EDWARD FOREVER!!

Esse livro reúne diversas informações e curiosidades sobre os livros e filmes da saga Crepúsculo.

Começa falando sobre a Stephenie Meyer, sobre a origem da história e seu processo de escrita. Depois, nos apresenta a biografia de boa parte do elenco, dando um destaque especial para o Rob, a Kristen e o Taylor, claro. Mas achei legal que há também bastante espaço dedicado aos outros atores.

Quando "Mordida de Amor" foi publicado, eles ainda não tinham gravado Amanhecer. As curiosidades sobre os sets vão apenas até Eclipse. O livro de Amanhecer já havia sido publicado, já sabiam como iria acabar, mas não tinham muitas informações de como seria a adaptação para as telas.

É engraçado ler esse livro agora. Eu não tinha comprado antes por achar que não valia a pena, não era nenhum guia "oficial", então tinha ignorado. Mas agora que sou uma fã velha e emocionada resolvi ler pra matar as saudades... E fiquei rindo sozinha, pois tem uma página inteira dedicada ao roubo do manuscrito de Midnight Sun, com frases chateadas da Steph, dizendo que provavelmente ficaria trancado no cofre dela pra sempre, ao menos que ela se sentisse pronta em outro momento para voltar a essa história... E tipo... Daqui 14 dias Midnight Sun será lançado mundialmente. Ainda nem parece verdade, mesmo com todas as citações de divulgação que estamos tendo. Foram tantos anos esperando...

Além disso, tem também uma parte em que eles diziam não ter a menor ideia de como iriam gravar Amanhecer por conta do crescimento acelerado da Renesmee, mas que contavam com o bom desenvolvimento das tecnologias... Eu lendo e pensando: "deu tudo errado com aquele CGI, migs. kkkkkkkkkkkk"

Entre esse livro aqui e aquele outro "Almanaque" do Nicola Bardola , esse é mil vezes melhor. Achei muito mais completo, divertido, escrito por alguém que de fato gosta do assunto. Mas tem muitos erros de digitação. Perdi a conta de quantas vezes li "Kirsten".

Very light, very fluffy collection of short biographies and inside quotes off all things Twilight. Although I didn't learn anything new, a true Twilight obsessive (like me!) enjoys re-reading all the juicy details.
