Ian Dalton is the Kindle-bestselling author of the Victoria Wilde novels, which feature strong, sexy female characters -- women who seize every opportunity for fun and don’t let a little thing like age stand in the way of love or passion.

Dalton brings a fresh perspective on the "erotic romance" genre -- seamlessly working it to the max while poking just a little harmless fun at it along the way. His work has gained fans around the world who have proclaimed his books as "must reads," "mind blowing," and more.

One of Dalton's specialties is capturing the intense desire between an older woman and a younger man who are completely crazy about one another, but are desperately trying to squash their feelings. He brilliantly explores the passionate thoughts floating around in their heads as they pine away. The result is steamy, tender, often funny writing at its best.

However, Dalton's greatest creation is the incomparable, fan favorite Victoria Wilde. The character has emerged as a life-savoring heroine, with readers around the web asking, "What would Victoria do?" We're not always sure but we know it will be fun!

If you enjoy romance stories with flirty banter, steamy sex, and some hilarious escapades as the guy tries to convince his love they’re meant to be, you’ll enjoy Ian Dalton's books.

You can find Ian at www.iandaltonbooks.com or drop him a note at ianwdalton@gmail.com.

Dalton has also released many of his books in a less explicit form under the pen name Luke Young. If you'd like a little less heat with your sex comedy, be sure to check out Young's Friends With…Benefits series. 2 3/4 for for some sexy scenes

I've been meaning to review this story, but this is the first chance I've had. Just a quick one though:

There were some really sexy, titillating moments, but mostly it was a man's wet dream. This makes sense since it was written by a man.

SPOILER ALERT:

I'm personally not a fan of "cougar" stories. I am a mother of teens. My oldest son is in college and turning 18 in a week. It really creeps me out to imagine having sex with one of his 18 year old friends. I just can't even fathom any responsible adult woman wanting to do that. Not to mention stalking and luring said "teens" to have sex with her, virgin teens. Granted, they are 18...Legal, but UGH...ridiculous.

Okay, the wet dream part: Victoria LOVES to give blow jobs. I mean she absolutely loves to deep-throat. She doesn't even care about having intercourse. Did I say she loves to give blow jobs?

Oh, and of course she shaves her pubic hair. Because we all know that men LOVE women whose vaginas look like prepubescent children. I am a fan of trimming and a little shaving, but bare? Definitely a man's dream. Oh and she can climax many, many times in a row. Oh and she is drenched and her body is perfect.

I'm supposed to believe that a man has a mold made of his perfect penis to leave her when he dies? He also makes one for MC's best friend, who he was screwing as well.

Rant Over!

Series Victoria Wilde .5
Review:

"Desperate Thoughts" by Ian Dalton was definitely a read for the adult who enjoys erotica and romance with a twist. So, let me say this is a very adult content read that is very explicit. Now, with that being said I did find this novel interesting and really well written. The story was of a widow who decides to honor her now dead husband 'by re-enacting the story he had once told her.' Her husband had been her 'soul mate and her friend. However, while Victoria struggles to move on she encounters a shy college freshmen who reminds her of her late husband and it is then that she finds herself sexually reawakened and now she pursues to fulfill her sexual desires.' This story will take off and this is where I say you must pick up this read to see where all this author will take the reader. Be ready for a read that is out there...especially if you like erotica read along with 'multiple partners, anal play, explicit language and sex with strangers.' There will also be 'tears, emotions, hot sex and the ...well unbelievable twister tale.' In the end you see that this is a very 'spellbinding' read that will be some read. If you enjoy sexy erotica romantic novel, Mr. Ian Dalton's book(s) would be for you.

3.5 Stars, this is the Prequel to Inappropriate Thoughts and also Friends With Partial Benefits but only tells the story of Victoria Wilde, the libidinous, Samantha-esque (from SATC) sexual cougar/creature.

When the story begins, she is newly widowed, and is fantasizing about her husband David, who left her a replica of his magnificent organ, which she keeps in a red velvet pouch and looks at every evening. She used to tease him in movie theatres and she is in a movie theatre with her friend Rebecca.

When she is leaving the theatre, she sees a nerdy young guy by himself, and stands in line next to him and then gives him some pleasure in the theatre, along with some advice as she leaves.

Then she starts recruiting nerdy young college men at the library of the university where David used to work. She interviews them and finds some men to play with, but she has some emotional breakdowns and crying fits before she finally meets a young man who is better than the others.

Ethan is a college senior and his organ coincidentally looks exactly like David's. He helps her out of a dangerous situation and kind of stalks her as she tries to move to a different Florida town.

There is a high amount of erotic content between young men and older women and a sort of three some menage scene (MFM). Some back door play and an interesting way of giving a hand job that David liked.

This is an erotic prequel that helps to understand Victoria Wilde as a character and gives insight into how she is who she is. It is not as funny as Inappropriate Thoughts, it is actually kind of sad in places. It is great for fans of Victoria Wilde.

I guess everyone has a different way of mourning, and Victoria Wilde's way is entertaining, to say the least. I haven't read a lot of erotica, mostly because in the examples I have read the descriptions of sex get boring and the story lines are a little weak. That's not the case here, mostly because there's some psychological heft in Desperate Thoughts. Victoria thinks she's in control. She thinks she's paying homage to her late husband. But on both counts, is she?

Different readers might reach different conclusions, but Desperate Thoughts provides some food for thought. Dalton also does a good job of revealing the female character's desires and motivations without giving the men short-shrift, especially when it comes to how important giving pleasure to partners is to many men.

Hil-fucking-larious. Although probably not meant to be. Desperate Thoughts is the short (but longer than most novellas) prequel to the Victoria Wilde series. Can you say nympho? How about cougar? Definitely written by a guy; no romance here, just male-fantasy erotica: sex, sex, and more sex. Remember guys,
"Be confident, pay a little more attention to your appearance and take some chances. If you don't, you'll never have a good life. And your penis is exquisite. Don't keep it all to yourself."
-Victoria
The whole premise is absolutely ludicrous. I got this free on Amazon and wouldn't have bothered if it were lengthier. That said, some of it is pretty hot, and, plot aside, the writing style isn't too painful to read - hence 3 stars instead of 2.

If you like creeper cougar stories...check this one out

I'm not a fan of M/F books anymore and strong female characters were never my favorite when I did read M/F. Anyway this book was picked for a challenge so I bit the bullet and read it. (I had read book 1 already and that one I didn't mind so much...I think I just like the guy and his pancake skills!) This book had it went a couple different ways throughout the book, I think it might have been a better fit for me.

Please don't base your decision to read or not read this book on my thoughts...I'm just putting them out there.

This was a delightful read of a strong female principle character fourteen months after the death of her husband from a tumor. Her memories of her sexy husband and the raucous fun they had together during movie nights in the dark of the theater were painfully haunting her.

Her husband had left her an unusual gift to remember him by which became a key element of this fun story. Victoria began a unique sexual recovery course with a plan to give as much pleasure like she had received from her husband.

The story was very well packaged with great character and timeline development. I would readily recommend this to adult readers who enjoy erotica and romance with twists.

**4-1/2 Stars**

I received this book free from Amazon for my Kindle and decided to read it for an ebook challenge. It sounded pretty good and had good ratings but was written by a man so I approached it with caution. I have to say I was extremely surprised because Ian Dalton can write some erotica! He can also write a good, funny, quirky, sexy storyline with interesting characters. It was good enough that I had to continue with the series immediately. More reviews coming for future books...

I loved it!! I have already read the Friends With series and need more Victoria. She is a strong sexual character trying to cope after losing her husband 14 months earlier. She decides she wants to relive a memory David told her that happened to him when he was young and inexperieced. A hot older woman gave David some confidence and she decides to do the same for some lucky young men but it leads to trouble and heartache. A must read this one isn't as funny and not much romance but if you like Victoria in Friends With you need to read this!!

Adult content, very adult content. Book is for those who would rather read about sexual relations than watch movies lol. Victoria loves to gobble 'em up and makes no qualms about it. She goes in search of giving the gift that her dead husband received as a young man that made him the man he was (before he died).

She goes on a hunt for fresh freshman at the college campus her husband used to work for and gives them an ego boost. But she only goes for the nerdy and inexperienced looking guys. Until one of them catches onto the game and lies his way in. And into her sexual heart.

Well reading this certainly explains a lot! I was in tears at the begining I was so pulled in to the story. In this prequel we get the back story to that which is Victoria. It makes sense why she is the way she is and why she did/does the things she does. I really recommend you read this to get the full picture of Victoria's character. It is well written, well paced and simply a great read!

Another fantastic read by an awesome writer. This book may not be as funny as Inappropriate Thoughts or Friends with Partial Benefits but it's a very emotive book and written by a man no less. In no way does this book lack genuine feeling and emotion of what Victoria is going through. I often felt a tear welling however it is still a funny book and a.compelling read.

This reads like a long version of one of the letters in the Penthouse forum. At least with the letters, you can excuse some sloppy writing because it's meant to be amateurish and you won't have to suffer long because they're so short. Not so with this book; it reads as if a teenage boy wanted to jot down his own masturbation material...and it goes on forever.

Wow! You can clearly tell this was written by a man. There was no romance at all, just smut. Reads like a Penthouse forum letter it was just not enjoyable. I skimmed most after I found some typos and was unable to connect with the main characters. I don't intend to read the rest of the series.

Ok, read the Luke Young e-books with the Ian Dalton option & this novella was attached at the end. It helps explain, a little, Victoria. To be exact a year after her husband dies and she kinda goes wild...but then she meets Ethan.

This is the story of Victoria reminiscing about her deceased husband, David. She decides to basically do the same thing as a woman had done for David when he was a freshman in college. She starts contacting young, nerdy freshman offering them one night. This was funny, very hot and a good story.
