Millie Criswell

National bestselling author Millie Criswell didn't start out to be a writer. Instead, she had aspirations of joining the Rockettes as a toe-tapping member of their dancetroop, or tapping her heart away in one of those big, corny MGM musicals. Of course she was only ten at the time, had absolutely no talent as a dancer, and cannot be blamed for her failure to succeed.

To date, Ms. Criswell has written twenty-one historical, category, and contemporary romances. She has won numerous awards, including the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award, the Reviewers' Choice Award, the National Reader's Choice Award, and the coveted MAGGIE Award from Georgia Romance Writers.

Ms. Criswell resides in Virginia with her husband of thirty-two years. She has two grown children, both lawyers, and one neurotic Boston terrier

Angela DeNero's life is a mess. She's just broken up with her fiance, who dumped her for another woman, her small Baltimore law practice is experiencing more than its share of growing pains, her smothering, but well-meaning parents have just announced they are moving to Little Italy to be near her. And to make matters worse, she's just discovered she's pregnant. As if her life wasn't bad enough, Angela has just learned that opposing counsel in the custody proceeding she's handling is John Franco, hometown hunk and cousin to her clients, the Gallaghers. She considers the man a traitor. He considers her a spoiled rich girl from Harvard.

But appearances can be deceiving, as can love, when it's masked in a battle of the sexes that both are ill-prepared for.

This book had one too many stereotypes, didn't really portray her fear of being pregnant unmarried, and just threw in a man who so desperately wants children. It was a little unbelievable that he fell in love with her from the start. And I have to say her choice in boyfriends was the pits. One gives away private pictures of her, one knocks her up, and then... the last one is a bad boy turned good?
