Shattered tells the stories of families living with the aftermath of losing a loved one to violence and rebuilding their broken lives. It examines the often-overlooked aspects of how families are treated by the system and what changes need to be introduced. It examines the law, Irish society, and the prison system, and analyzes the argument that Ireland is becoming a more dangerous place.
