Chasing Bliss
Chase Brown has it all...he's wealthy, owns three of the hottest night clubs in New York City and he's boyishly handsome. Review of Chasing Bliss
This was a story of true love forming right before our eyes. I've never believed in love at first sight until I read this book.
Cyrus was one sick twisted individual. He must've been put on this earth to make everyone's life a living hell. Corey tried to keep the peace between his brothers, but it was no good. They would never get along.

Street lit is not one of my favorite genres, but I will occasionally read one if its not hardcore gangsta. I really enjoyed reading Chasing Bliss even though it had some violence and an abundance of curse words, I still thought it was a sweet love story between Chase and Bliss. Here is an excerpt from the book that I thought was so sweet when Bliss is questioning Chase about not wearing a condom after they had made love.
Chase - "They(condoms) don't mean anything to me because if you had some terrible disease, I'd rather get it and die than be without you. If you get pregnant, I'll hold you down, Bliss. I'll do more than that, I will marry you and see how many more we can have."

The only thing holding him back is his grimy brother Cyrus who is bent on keeping Chase’s alter ego Smoke working for him. Torn between the two brothers is their younger brother Corey, who wants nothing more than for his brothers to get along. When Chase meets Bliss; he lets Cyrus know his days as the murderous Smoke are coming to an end. As family loyalty is tested and family secrets unfold, these three brothers will come to a crossroad that will change their lives forever.
“Chasing Bliss” is a drama filled tale that shows all blood ties are not strong. It was a quick read for the most part with only a few sections that dragged and had me looking for the next chapter. The attention to detail, fresh story line and few grammatical errors was refreshing in this urban lit tale. In all, Sabrina Eubanks’ “Chasing Bliss” was a solid read that will not disappoint.

I actually need a couple of more stars on my rating scale. Sabrina you did your thing on this one.
Chase Brown had been living a long time with some deep demons that were a major struggle for him until he decided to splash mud on the sweetest ray of sunshine he had ever met Bliss Riley. It was true love from the very beginning! This book OMG will have you turning page after page after page and wanting more! Such an emotional read and I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT *applauding*

If you are not familiar with this term look it up, because when Cyrus commits Fratricide it changes everything....
Chase Brown owns three popular New York city night clubs. He has two brothers Corey who is 4yrs younger and Cyrus who is 15yrs older. When Chase was 12 he watched his mother die in his arms. After her death Corey and Chase stayed with Cyrus. Cyrus is a drug dealer and has been since 19. As his little brothers got older he would get them to do his dirty work. At 16 Chase kills his first person and Smoke is born. His assasin alter ego that is known to be both stealth and lethal. Chase is very protective of Corey and the two are very close, knowing this Cyrus blackmails Chase to get what he wants. Cyrus starts to use Chase as a weapon and Corey as the pawn. Now people fear Cyrus because of Chase. But all Chase wants is to leave Smoke behind so he can move on be happy and live in bliss.
Enter Bliss Riley. The two meet and feel an instant attraction. They know the intense feeling they share is rare for two people who have just met. But none of that matters because after a few weeks they are in love. The problem is Cyrus likes to have Chase at his beckon call he also needs him to take someone out "A.S.A.P". But Chase has different thoughts and they do not invole murder. The two come to a deadlock and when an enemy comes to collect, he collects his debt in dead bodies. Now both brothers need to make decisions. And quick.
The Characters
Ummmmm.... Cyrus was a straight psycho path. He is selfish, cold hearted and just plain evil. Cyrus admited to hating Chase the second he came out their mothers birth canal. You will hate him as a reader. Chase had his demons but he also had a clear vision for wanting a better life knowing that there was another way to live. Chase really loved both his brothers and watching him struggle was heart wrenching. Corey tries to be the bridge between his two brothers he always feel stuck in the middle. Corey is a sweetheart and i really felt bad that he was torn btwn Chase and Cyrus feeling forced to take sides. I loved Bliss she was a real ride or die chick.
Thoughts
I enjoyed the story/plot it sucked me in on page 1 and i could not stop reading until i found out how it ended. It had both extremes of being suspenseful and sweet then harsh and violent. This was my first book by this author and needless to say i enjoyed it.

Chasing Bliss was a wonderful and emotional story. From the first chapter I was hooked! CB is about three brothers. Cyrus is the oldest and he reminds his younger brothers on the regular that if it wasn't for him taking them in after their mother being killed they would have been orphans. He uses this reminder to control and manipulate them.
This book had me feeling every emotion there was..anger, love, sadness, happiness....!!!
These three brothers will take you on emotional rollercoaster you'll never forget!! This author is now my favorite and this book is now one of my favorites! Excuse me while I go order every book Sabrina Eubanks has written!

This book was so good! Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. This story shows you how fast love, loyalty, and brotherhood could eventually kill you. The saying is true sometimes blood aint no thicker than water. If you haven't read Chasing Bliss you are seriously missing out...

WOW This book was so intense, I couldn't put it down. The author gift of the pen had you feeling
You knew all of them and felt family emotions for Chase , his brothers, ,Bliss his love, JT BF &God Brother and the rest of the crew. I felt so much for Chase beeing born in a disfunchable family but had so much love and felt he had to protect those that he loved. I hated his older brother Cyrus, he was such Ahole smile. I was so happy that Chase and Bliss finally was given a beautiful love of life they Both deserve. If you looking for a read that will take you a p!ace were only you can say WOW, Chasing Bliss is the book for you. Enjoy

Chasing Bliss
Cyrus, Chase and Corey Brown are brothers but don't have a close relationship. Why? Cyrus is cray-cray and uses Chase to do his dirty deeds. Anytime murder is on the menu, it's because of Cyrus trying to run the drug trade in the streets and raging war with other dealers. But Chase meets Bliss Riley, falls in 💘, and decides to get out of the life along with his baby brother, Corey. Unfortunately for the brothers, Cyrus becomes their ultimate enemy and murder is the only way out.

Omg
I'm speechless. So much to take in. That ending was shocking, to say the least. Chase was a good dude with a lot of inner turmoil. I couldn't stand Cyrus but towards the end, I felt a slight, slight inkling of sadness for him, just a little though. Corey was the peacekeeper. I cried, laughed and got happy all at once with this story. I liked JT and Tasha, they were funny.

I liked this story! Chase's quest made it all the more better. He & Bliss truly belonged together. Cyrus was pure evil! He was easy to dislike. His confession blew me away! Great storyline!

smart and feminine. I know how to act like a lady. You can say yeah I see him falling for her. Good job.

Sibling Rivalry At Its Best
Three brothers with a love/hate relationship. Cyrus Brown is the oldest of the three and a big time drug dealer. Chase Brown aka Smoke is the middle brother and a businessman. Smoke, as he is known on the streets, is a straight killer. Corey Brown is the baby and left to try to keep peace between his brothers. Chase and Corey were left to the care of their oldest brother after they witnessed their mothers murder. This traumatic event has caused Smoke to become, the most vicious killer in his town. Cyrus uses Smoke as his personal killing machine while using Corey to blackmail Smoke into his web and be his enforcer.
Chase and Cyrus couldn't be more different. Chase wants to get from under Cyrus’ finger, but protecting Corey from Cyrus is his first priority. When Cyrus wants to open up a club, he looks to Chase to help get his club off ground. Chase has several successful clubs and during the interview process for a manager, Bliss Riley comes to the interview. This is how Bliss is introduced into the story. In a funny motorcycle scene that had me cracking up, It was love at first sight. The courting stage is short, but I was rooting for this couple. After reading,I wanted to be in love. Their love affair was so pure I fell in love with Chase. I also loved the relationship Chase has with his best friend Jayson "JT" Taylor. While JT wasn't a main character, he was a vital character to the book.
Sabrina Eubanks was a breath of fresh air. This was a different kind of story here. Lessons learned and regrets. Human emotions were up close and personal. I was able to not only read the story, I felt the story. Excellent job on bringing my feelings to the forefront, even as I disagreed with some of the things Chase did, I still love him for the good, bad and evil. I will be reading this author again and I recommend this novel.

Three brothers with a love/hate relationship. Cyrus Brown is the oldest of the three and a big time drug dealer. Chase Brown aka Smoke is the middle brother and a businessman. Smoke, as he is known on the streets, is a straight killer. Corey Brown is the baby and left to try to keep peace between his brothers. Chasing Bliss fits this book perfectly , Bliss and Chase met after he sprayed water all over while riding his motorcycle, while she was on her way to a job interview. He got off his bike to help her and to apologized he ends up knocking her resume on the ground it gets wet she is mad at him. She leaves to rush to her interview mad at the man who got her dirty and made her late, guess who the interview is with? That is just the beginning. I loved the two of them falling in love it was a sweet sexy story . This story has a very dark side Cyrus Chase's older brother. I hated him he is mean and selfish the things he does in this book will surprise you and wish him dead . This story has action suspense and romance and you will love reading every page.

This is my first book by Sabrina Eubanks. As a romance reader junkie I took some advice and decided to lean to the left and read "Chasing Bliss". I didn't know my left was gonna spin my emotions in 360 degrees, twist my stomach in a knot and remind myself to continue breathing while reading. When the scene were about the brothers, you forget that there's a love story brewing. When the scene is about Chase and Bliss you forget that its in the mist of street drama. Sabrina was able to develop her characters so you don't know who (but one) you're more endeared to and they felt so real. In addition to the drama unfolding this book is well written and as quick as you want it to end when it does you want more.

This was a good book. I had alot going on in my life so it took me longer to finish it, but it had nothing to do with the book. Sabrina really did a number on this one, I actually like the way Bliss and Chase found love and made it work thru all that they had to deal with. There was truely alot of dramma going on from beginning to end and it kept me motivated to stick with it. So do keep up the good work

I love love love this book. Al the sacrificing chase did to protect what was his was amazing. It broke my heart to know that Cyrus killed Corey and did all that terrible stuff to Dee and Bliss. He got what he deserved at the end though and even though it did sound CRAZY I believed Cyrus when her said he as not only his brother but his dad as well. I'm happy that Chase found Bliss and they're happy and have their own family.

I absolutely loved this one… it had everything you could possibly want romance, suspense, murder, drugs, sibling rivalry, and friendship. The name is great and very fitting. I have a book crush on JT, and would love to see what happens with him & Tasha (hint, hint). I absolutely adored the relationship between Chase & Bliss. This was my first read by Sabrina Eubanks but definitely won’t be the last. I also would like to give an honorable mention to G Street Chronicles.

This was a good book from beginning to the end,not a dull moment in sight.I loved chase he made me believe that there are still good men out here & there is a such thing as love @ first sight.Bliss was a great girl a true ride or die wife no matter the problem she was there.Loved the ending.Good job Sabrina!!!

Once I picked up Chasing Bliss I could not put it down. Everything about this book was on point - the characters, the plot and even the editting! You cannot help but love these characters, well most of them, but the author keeps on throwing some things out there that you never would've seen coming. This is a must read!

Chasing Bliss" was on of the best books that I've read in a long time, the storyline was phenomenal!! Chase and Bliss were made for one another; it was love at first sight. This book kept me entertained from the beginning to the very end. It was full of love, drama, deceit and loyalty. I encourage you to read this book and I promise you will not be disappointed. Loved it!!

This book is amazingly good...it stared off a little slow but keep going and u won't be able to put it down...I can honestly say I fell in love with one of the characters from this book!!!! Wish I could give it 10 stars...#MUSTREAD

This was a great book. The characters in this book realistic and felt as if they were my brothers. I felt pain, love, dread, anguish, and regret while reading this book. The author really knows out to pull at you emotions and I love that in a book. Great book! Definitely a must read!
