Have you ever wondered what you were created to do? You may think you have an idea, but aren't positive that you are fulfilling the purpose for which God created you. First of all, you have to find the unique purpose that He created you for. In his new book, Andrew Wommack teaches you how to do just that. Once you find the will of God for your life, then you will have the assurance and joy that comes from knowing exactly where God wants you to be. As you follow the will of God for your life, it allows you to set goals and purposely seek after what God has created you to do. Andrew teaches you that the number one way that we learn to follow God's will is to simply put God first. When you put Him first then the desire of your heart changes to match up with His. Lastly, Andrew teaches how to fulfill the will of God in your life. It's one thing to find God's will and start moving in the right direction, but it's something else to stay at it over the long haul. Anybody can start, but it's the people who finish that really make a difference. Finishing is more important than starting, and it is only through faith and patience that you inherit God's promises.
Andrew began his ministry in 1972 and is the President and Founder of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College located in Colorado Springs. For four decades Andrew has been teaching the Word of God. His revelation is taught with clarity and simplicity, emphasizing God’s unconditional love and grace. His daily Gospel Truth radio and television programs are broadcast domestically and internationally.
He founded Charis Bible College in 1994 and has established 70+ extension colleges in major cities of America and around the world. Andrew has produced a library of teaching materials in print, audio, and visual formats.
This was the book chosen for discussion in our bi-weekly home group and I found some good points in seeking God's will but was not totally into the author's writing style.
How to Find, Follow, and Fulfill God’s Will by Andrew Wommack
Rating: 5 — A practical, faith-rooted guide for spiritual clarity and purpose
Andrew Wommack’s How to Find, Follow, and Fulfill God’s Will is a deeply encouraging and accessible roadmap for believers seeking to understand their divine calling. With characteristic clarity and conviction, Wommack breaks down the journey into three distinct phases—finding, following, and fulfilling God’s will—each grounded in Scripture and personal testimony.
Finding God’s Will Wommack begins by addressing the foundational question: Why am I here? He challenges readers to move beyond vague aspirations and seek the specific purpose for which God created them. This section is rich with biblical insight and practical steps, emphasizing that discovering God’s will begins with a sincere relationship with Him—not with frantic searching, but with quiet surrender.
“God’s will isn’t hidden from you—it’s hidden for you.”
This quote encapsulates Wommack’s belief that God delights in revealing His plans to those who earnestly seek Him.
Following God’s Will Once the reader identifies their divine purpose, Wommack shifts focus to the discipline of following it. He teaches that obedience flows naturally when God is placed first, and that our desires begin to align with His. This section is especially helpful for goal-setting and discerning spiritual priorities. It’s not just about knowing the path—it’s about walking it with intention.
Fulfilling God’s Will The final section is perhaps the most sobering and empowering. Wommack reminds us that many begin the journey, but few finish well. Through stories, Scripture, and pastoral wisdom, he emphasizes the importance of perseverance, faith, and patience. The message is clear: finishing is more important than starting, and the true fruit of obedience is found in endurance.
Why This Book Matters For teachers, mentors, and seekers alike, this book offers a structured framework for spiritual growth. It’s ideal for small group studies, personal reflection, or classroom discussion. Wommack’s tone is pastoral yet practical, making complex spiritual truths feel attainable and actionable.
That is something I have been trying to find out for a long time. This book helped me to understand how to find, follow, and fulfill God's will. He is an easy to understand writer. Sometimes you have to open your mind and think in a way you were not accustomed to, but he has scriptures to back up what he says. I'd read any book he writes.
This is a must book for every young believer in Christ if they are on a search for their purpose. The wisdom of God flows through Andrew’s hands into this book. The simple truth of the book is the practise of focusing your life on the Word of God provides you the answer to every step of your life.

This book Was outstanding. Very challenging yet very instructional. I highly recommend this book if you want to get deeper regard. His chapter on glorifying God from Romans chapter 1 was outstanding.
Andrew's no nonsense and practical approach to the Word of God is incredibly insightful and inspiring. He leaves no room for wishy washy sitting on the fence mentality, move it or loose it. You have to do more than just read the Word you have to accept and act on what you believe. It has to move from head knowledge to heart knowledge. He uses anecdotes and personal stories to further convey his message. Definitely worth reading for anyone seriously pursuing what God has for them.

Wow!! What an amazing book! So much liberating truth in this. Helped me understand one of the most important things in life, which is how God speaks to me (and has been speaking to me). An amazing book!! So much I didn't know. Highly recommended!
Having a sense of destiny, God's will for our lives is of utmost importance. Many people have the notion that you just can't know God's will for your existence on earth and that in God's sovereignty, He will make it happen regardless of what you do - ''Qué será, será, whatever will be, will be.'' For a very long time, Christians, not all though, have held this viewpoint and it has resulted in them not knowing the full potential God has programmed for us. But an end has come. God created you and I for a specific purpose, and the gospel is, He wants us to Find, Follow and Fulfil it. Just knowing God's will, however, isn't enough. You need to understand the part you have to play if you are going to Follow, and Fulfil it. Interestingly, you might be surprised to discover that knowing God's will involves following the desires of your heart. Worthy of note, before you set off, ensure you are able to distinguish God's will from your own selfish desires. God's will cannot be fulfilled any way you want. It takes God's strength, timing and also your obedience and patience. These are just few areas to mention. However, there are others that were explained in the book. The Author, Pastor Andrew Wommack also shared his experience of how he found, and has been following and fulfilling God's will for his life. This will help you greatly on your way (if you are yet to find God's will) to doing just the same or possibly if you have found it to keep making progress.
LESSON LEARNT God's will is always perfect, attracting God's blessings, and joy. But the degree to which you experience His perfect will changes relative to how much you delight in God.
