Enjoyed this window into the lives of the members of a traveling acting troupe set in the old west via the story of one young girl (Lucinda) who runs away when her mother is rounded up in a raid on the local dance hall. She stumbles onto the troupe and is hired on to play small parts and as the journey unfolds she befriends the piano player who turns out to want to marry her mother. A happy ending and a great story about growing up.
