This anthology defied expectations for me. I thought it'd be children stories, mostly after judging the book by the cover, but these were not. I thought it'd be stories about ghosts and werewolves, but they were not. They were stories about fear as an emotion, and each story told of that emotion. Most stories had something to do with a common fear we all have like fear of death, commitment, loss of love/friendship, being alone, raising families, doing the right vs wrong thing, fitting in, fear of being a bad person. A couple monster stories were thrown in but not many. I bought it for Noah Van Sciver, but my favorite story was the one from tow knee chavez.
