I still had some of the same issues as the first book, but there is something here that makes me want to keep reading. It helps that the next book has Grim and he is my favorite.
The Mark/Malice fighting, sniping, bitching got very old fast here. I wanted them to have it out and it took more than half the book to happen and even then it wasn't everything, just Malice saying why he left a bit, not totally explaining it all. Turns out Mark is familiar with what he was talking about, just with different evil people.
Malice and Apple were ok together, but there was a lot of snipping there too for the first part, which drove me nuts. It was nice to see they worked out things and Malice showed her in big ways how much she meant to him. That was nice, because man...Apple really went through some crap in this one. Her bad luck really surrounded her.

Good Read
This is a brilliant book to read if you love MC romances, alpha type heroes who live in the grey area, super protective men who are really marshmallows at heart for the right person and strong FMC’s who know their own mind and won’t let said man walk all over them. I throughly enjoyed this book, the story was great and I just couldn’t put it down and I really loved the characters as well.

Matt looked at him and asked if he was ready. They had just turned eighteen and were standing outside the church doors with gas cans in hand.
He had been ready for ten years.
He had been so excited when his parents changed to the church that his friends attended and today was the church's first social. He had been eight years old and was excited to see his friends and enjoy the fun.
He didn't know then that the Deacon and Priest used the annual picnic as their hunting ground. With threats against his younger four-year-old brother and the belief when they told him no one would believe him it was the first day of ten year's of abuse.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is book 2 of the Saints Purgatory MC series and hearing the story from Matt's POV really doesn't hit you as hard as hearing it straight from Paul.
Paul "Malice", Matt "Soul", John "Grim" and Mary "Jezabel" started the Saints Purgatory MC to rid the monsters who are beyond redemption. When Malice's brother comes looking for him all the rage festering comes forefront and Mark and Apple are his targets.
This book is action-packed, full of danger and suspense. Beware if you don't read dark romance because this book is just that dark. A childhood being sexually abused by those who are supposed to be trusted. I love these recurring characters and the strong women who soften their dark hearts.
If you want a steamy-hot, dark MC romance look no further! Highly recommend!

Wrathful Malice is a fast paced, an edge of the seat read that will take a reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. This book is a sheer perfection with a wonderfully written, brilliant storyline and characters that I simply adore. What a wilde ride with a lot of secrets and tension. It's thrilling, compelling, gripping, raw, passionate, intriguing, an intense romance with a mix of mystery, secrets, lies and suspense.
Soul, Malice and Grim are a tight-knit group and the core of the club. These three learned at the young age that they can only count on themselves having each other's back which made their friendship / bond stronger and unbreakable. Malice is the VP of the Saints Purgatory MC. Being a VP, he needs to be calm, collected with a cool head which is not always the case. He might seem unapproachable but it's his way to protect himself. Malice is dealing with a lot of issues especially when his past comes back to haunt him.
Apple is determined, brave, free spirited, takes no nonsense from anyone and vulnerable.
These two challenged each other. Malice and Apple are passionate, swoony and intense; their connection and chemistry sizzling. She makes him want to become a better man. Even though he was claiming he has no heart, he proved time and time again the opposite with his actions. These two evoke every single emotion. She brings out his softer side, protectiveness and possessiveness. Their transformation and growth throughout the book is heartwarming. They've both been through so much. Seeing them thriving and healing together by accepting love is beautiful.
Fantastic addition to a new series. If you love MC romance, unpredictable twists and turns, darker reads, possessive, broody, jaded hero and a kick ass strong woman, perfectly imperfect characters with a character driven storyline then this book / series is for you.

This is the continuation of the Saints Purgatory MC and is the story of Malice. This book is a very emotional read on so many fronts and deals with very sensitive subject matter – so I do suggest that all triggers and warnings are noted before you read it. This is a darker read and the plot is well written and flows.
Malice is a man dealing with a lot of pent-up issues from his past that has become more apparent since his brother Mark turned up. Malice does not want to deal with his past as those sinners have been sent to purgatory but the problem is there is still the emotional turmoil. Having Mark there brings up pain and anguish, a brother he now no longer knows.
We are introduced into some history behind Apple and Mark and how they met and what we understand from the start is that Apple is a free loveable spirit that takes no nonsense from anyone. Mark is her BFF and there meeting wasn’t exactly on happy terms it was Mark saving her from two creeps (from this short interaction we already see similarities to Malice), but we also are made aware that Mark has secrets that he is keeping from everyone.
Malice is struggling to deal with Mark’s reappearance so what happens when he returns with Apple as she needs help and Saints Purgatory are the only ones he knows to help her. How similar are Malice and Mark’s past and can they overcome their own issues to get back to what they had as children (brothers, a family). The connection between Apple and Malice is there but he fights it, and let's be honest with the Purgatory boys they always fall at one point. I love Apple as she takes no crap from anyone of the MC boys and keeps Malice on his toes. Malice as you would expect is a possessive alpha.
Second book did not disappoint and cant wait for the rest.

Wrathful Malice is the second book in the Saints Purgatory MC series by Andi Rhodes and Lacy Rose. This book was just as captivating as Unholy Soul. The grittiness and originality of the story is beautifully written and in amazing detail. This book is a dark MC romance with dark themes and topics. This book was gripping and deliciously enticing. I loved the storyline; it was captivating and page-turning. This book is a wild ride with all the drama, suspense, mystery, action, and so much angst. The characters were complex and had explosive chemistry. I loved the wit and banter all the characters had between each other.
Apple is independent, determined, and sassy. Her ferociousness and fire to get what she wants was heartwarming and exciting. Malice is dark, broody, stubborn, and a total Alpha. I loved his loyalty to his brothers and family. His growth throughout this book was touching and had me in tears. I loved Apple and Malice's angst most of all. It was such a chaotic buildup. It was burning off the pages; it was so hot. I loved the obstacles and hurdles both Apple and Malice went through in this book. Their story was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I felt all the pain and torment both went thru on their journeys to each other.
I am so excited to see what both these authors are bringing next. This series is going to be amazing. It will be on that I will binge read over and over again.- Brooke

I absolutely LOVE everything about this series as I can't get enough of how creative these bikers are at purging sinners LOL! Malice has brutal demons from his past which have left a real mark on him so it's understandable that he has some anger issues & that he's not willing to let people close to him. Apple has a huge heart, and tons of talent in music so she's been doing her best to make it on the music scene. She's actually best friends with Malice's younger brother Mark, so she was destined to meet Malice at some point, but she wasn't impressed when she did so. She actually gets to know him when she gets sick, and she won't let Mark take her to any sort of doctor because she doesn't want to spend the money, so since his hands are tied, he takes her to the Saints Purgatory MC neck of the woods for help. Mark & Malice have some issues of their own, and while they really need to work it out, it will take Apple to get that ball rolling which she does. At this point, the sparks are flying between Malice & Apple so finally, it was only a matter of time (especially since fate was involved at that point). Of course this is the biker world so there's the suspense aspect to have the twists coming in hot on top of all the feels that I experienced, heat, and the entertaining supporting cast. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wrathful Malice
This is book 2 of the Saints Purgatory MC series; the story of Apple and Malice.
I don’t even know where to start with this review. There was a lot going on in this story and it gripped me until I read every word. I couldn’t put it down.
Most of these books are guy meets girl, girl needs rescue, guy rescues girl, with some angsty love/hate and denial of feelings before the HEA. This book is not that simple. Add some sexual abuse, childhood trauma and a whole lot of unresolved family drama and you get the story of Apple, Mark and Malice.
Mark is Malice’s younger brother and Apple’s BFF. The drama between the brothers is more captivating than the love story of Malice and Apple.
These characters have more depth than characters in Andi Rhodes’ previous books. I finally feel invested in their story. I can’t wait to see how the relationship between Mark and Malice progresses.
I think this is the best series from Andi so far. Maybe the collaboration with Lacy Rose has gotten the creative juices flowing more. I’m not familiar with Lacy’s work, but will look for something she’s written now.

This is book 2 of the Saints Purgatory MC series; the story of Apple and Malice.
I don’t even know where to start with this review. There was a lot going on in this story and it gripped me until I read every word. I couldn’t put it down.
Most of these books are guy meets girl, girl needs rescue, guy rescues girl, with some angsty love/hate and denial of feelings before the HEA. This book is not that simple. Add some sexual abuse, childhood trauma and a whole lot of unresolved family drama and you get the story of Apple, Mark and Malice.
Mark is Malice’s younger brother and Apple’s BFF. The drama between the brothers is more captivating than the love story of Malice and Apple.

See Evil, Hear Evil, Become Evil, Purge Evil -The second book in the series, and these two authors have yet again produced a gritty, fast-paced couldn't put-down read, Malice and Apple start out as enemies, but quickly the smouldering chemistry that was lit months ago is about to burn hot and bright but hold on to your Harley handles because this is not a smooth ride, it is fast, it is dangerous, it is tragic, there is a personal reason why the club is called the Saints Purgatory which steams from Malices past, hence the club's motto, they will purge evil in whatever form, Malice hadn't seen his younger brother Mark in years with both holding deep-rooted grudges against the other when fate puts them in each other pass again maybe the truth can finally be set free.

Apple befriended Mark 5 years ago, and he is her best friend going with her from club to club while she tries to get into the music business, Apple will protect him from anyone, including Malice, if she needs to, but that might be easier said than done with the growing attraction, but evil is lurking in the shadows, and it is directed at Apple, it looks like that Malice will need to purge evil once again to keep the woman he has grown to love safe.

I loved this 2nd book of the series
It is Dark and you do need to read the triggers for this book
Malice as not seen his brother in 5 years and then he turns up with Apple, Malice as never really let anyone in after what happened in his past and then his past is in his face and he hates his bother so much but it’s the same for Mark he hates is brother because of his past.
Apple has known Mark for 5 years after he helped her from being attacked and have not been apart since but they see each as brother and sister, at first Apple cant understand why Malice hates her so much, but she will not back down to Malice.
When Apple gets sick she takes her to the MC to have someone help her, Malice starts to see her in a new light he tries to fight it but he cant stop how he feels for her and when they kiss it’s like fireworks.
But not is all as it seems when thing start to happen to Apple and the MC as to figure out what is going on.
Can Malice leave his part alone so he can a relationship with his brother.
Can he find love with Apple or will he lose her for good.

Apple and Malice have a hate hate relationship in the beginning, Malice’s relationship with his brother isn’t any better.
When Apple is sick and not responding to Mark, he takes her back to the MC for help,. Malice hates that they are there and makes no problem letting everybody know it.

This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Malice and Apple’s journey. Malice is the VP of the Saints Purgatory, and he is dark, broody, and stubborn and haunted by his past, while Apple is brave and determined free spirit, and when she is sick her best friend Mark, takes her to the MC for help. Malice is less than happy when his brother arrives with Apple, who he has a love / hate relationship with. These two challenge each other at every turn, and the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with is a dark, raw, gritty, and intense story, with angst, suspense, danger, intrigue, secrets, drama, friendships, family, tension, lies, romance, loyalty, mystery, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, tragic, haunting, twisted, and steamy thrilling page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout.
I look forward to reading more from these talented authors’ whose work I highly recommend.

Malice has so many demons he isn’t a man that has a woman in his future. When his brother shows up in his life again, he wants nothing to do with him. The problem is that the woman that is with him, Apple is hard to forget. When they show up at Jaz’s house for help, Malice has to face his brother and Apple. He fights it just as hard, but when he’s told to man up, he has no choice.
Apple is finding her footing in her career and now has a steady gig in Vegas, but she needs a break and when she and Mark decide to go camping for a few days, they had no plans to see Malice or the Saints Purgatory MC members again. However, when they start to head out and Apple gets sick and runs a high fever, Mark decides to seek out help from Jazmine, twin sister to Soul, President of the Saints Purgatory MC, and best friend to Malice.
I loved this story and this series. It’s been a heck of a ride. I am a huge fan of Andi Rhodes’ books and she’s done a great job with this series along with Lacy Rose. I am very excited for Grimm’s story but I hope there are a lot more to come. I loved the story and the characters and I look forward to more in the series.

Love this book. Love Apple and Malice’s romance story. This book starts when Malice, Soul, and Grim ended the lives of Malice’s molesters. Four years later, Malice’s brother, Mark meets Apple and saves her from being raped. This starts Apple and Mark’s friendship. The book picks up after Malice kicks Mark and Apple out of the clubhouse. Apple ends up getting really sick which makes Mark return to the town of Saints Purgatory to get help from Soul. Mark and Malice have a lot of anger inside of them. Everyone wants them to talk to each other, to get it all sorted out but both of them are stubborn. Malice continues to be broody towards both Mark and Apple but in reality Apple has caught his eye. Throughout this book, readers get to see glimpses of what happened to Malice when he was younger. Love how these two end up together. Worth the read

This continuation of the Saints MC is a great read. Apple and Malice are some kind of HOT together.
Starts out with a little bit of the history of Apple and Mark, how they met, their travels until they need the MC family. We have to love the way Apple is able to stand up to the "boys" of the MC and not back down, even when she is feeling very sick. We are able to feel all the deep seated anxiety and despair of Malice and can understand his need to be extremely angry, until he is able to deal with it on some level with Apple.
There is a lot of action going on most of the story and it keeps the reader involved right up until the very end.
Can't wait for more of the brothers's stories, love how the whole MC family are supportive of each other.

Mark has secrets which he keeps hidden. When Apple becomes very sick, they find themselves with the Saints Purgatory MC, where we discover Mark is the estranged little brother of Malice, but the siblings have an unhealthy dislike of each other and nobody knows why.
Malice has closed a lot of himself off from emotions and relationships as self-protection from what happened to him during his childhood and it becomes a struggle not to let Apple get under his skin.
This is a brilliant, gritty story full of secrets, anger, danger, deceit and plot twists. We find out a little more of what caused the rupture to Malice and Marks relationship, but there is more that is still hidden and hopefully will be revealed as the series continues. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Please note that despite my rating this was still a really good book. I just couldn't give the whole 5 stars, especially off the back of the amazing first book.
For me there were just lots of little things. That and I would of loved to have seen more of his past/present healing, which seemed to of been dropped for the main plot thread.
The twist with her storyline was good but again I felt like there was a lot going on and a lot was only loosely tied up.
In saying all of this, overall I am LOVING this series and characters and I can't wait to see what this writing duo comes up with next.

I loved the first novel in this series and this novel did not disappoint. I was so excited to begin reading this novel, from the very first chapter I could not put it down. I loved getting the back story on Malice and his brother Mark. I loved Malice and Apple together. Their chemistry was so good, although they both had a lot of things to work thru. I love when a novel keeps me guessing what is coming next. This novel did exactly that. I loved it! I can't wait to see what is coming next.!

I was on the edge of my seat reading this story. What would happen next, why was stuff happening, generally not know what was going on. That makes a story so appealing to read. The slow burn romance of Malice and Apple was so good (sometimes slow is the way to go and Andy and Lacy are doing it so well in this series). I won’t go into the specifics, but I will say that Malice has endured a lot in his life and it is amazing he could come out of it and stay sane. Grim is again a prominent player in the story and I just love him and cannot wait for his story.

Malice and Apple's story! I really enjoyed book one, and this one was great, also.
I liked that Apple was friends with Mark for years, and they had a friendship, before heading to the MC where he reunited with his brother, Malice, and Apple met everyone.
The flashback scenes hurt, but they showed how Malice became the person he is. He's not someone who ever thought of falling in love but Apple soon changes that.
There's some darker subject matter, but it was a great read. I look forward to Grim's story next!

Oh boy, I thought I loved Soul but Malice has taken that spot, couldn’t put this down.
