I didn't think it could get spicier?! I thought wrong! Loved this just as much as the first book if not more, I feel like the characters are even more fleshed out and I love Gwen so much! I can't wait for the next book, I highly recommend if you love smutty romance with lots of twists!

I’m really invested in this story and that was a terrible ending 😫 I’m assuming she planned to keep writing and then didn’t? Or hasn’t? UGHHHHH.

I cannot fault this book, again I read this in one sitting because the story was so captivating and the will they won’t they aspect had me hanging on by a thread.
Dual pov is going to win every time for me, it’s a game changer and I just love that we’re able get inside Marcus head.
This book deals with real life issues, raw and honestly and you can’t help but sympathise with Gwen because none of her issues are downplayed and I love Adrienne for this.
Yes this book does have another cliffhanger but not one like the first book thank god for that!
This book answered some questions but not enough that I’m satisfied with this story I cannot wait until the third book comes out so I can binge all 3 books together. - highly recommend x
Oh and I’ve declared Adrienne the queen of spice because the spice in this book is PHENOMENAL 🔥

I can not tell you how much the title of this book explains the book itself. I feel like once you read it, you will understand what I mean.
It starts straight from the absolute shocker where the first book left us. I was dyinnnn to get my hands on book 2 btw and damn I'm more in love than ever.
THE SPICE! You ain't ready. You think you might be but damn it went from hotttt to absolutely scorching.
There is also a lot of emotion in this book but you will start to understand certain things and get answers to some of your questions while new questions arise. Obvs.
There is a lot happening, let me tell you that now. A lot to process but it is 10/10.
Can't wait for book 3! 🥳🥳

We are picking up right where we left off. That cliffhanger in book 1 nearly killed me so rolling right back into the story was great.
This book was a perfect second book. It has everything I wanted and more.
I don’t know how often can you scream NO at a book, but I can tell you it’s a lot. I switched sides every single chapter and it felt like a rollercoaster ride. The characters are relatable, the story gets more debt and the spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
One of my favorite quotes in this book was “I wish that I was capable of hating you”. It embodies the characters and my feelings about the book perfectly. I cannot wait for the third book.
