Small Clown is a short story that is a picture book in the guise of a chapter book. It's a simple story that does little harm, but it isn't that great either. I found it at a thrift store, of course. The clowns are sort of creepy, but they're also sort of charming. Then again, I've never had that fear of clowns that everybody else seems to have. It probably comes from dressing as a clown as a child; clowns are friends!
