Not as good as I would have hoped, but it was definitely better than some other books that I've read that are like this. Many books that look as short as this are usually very lacking in detail and contain very little plot. This was definitely way better. I feel that if J.L. Paul got better looking covers that attracted more attention that he would be more recognized and would have more readers.
This book had a very cute plot. It is similar to J.L. Paul's other book Out at Home though. I feel as if she didn't put much effort into creating new characters. In both this and Out at Home the male characters are very arrogant and self-absorbed. They both smirk a lot as well. Both books are about baseball as well, but that could just be a simple coincidence that I happened to read those two books. They book was still very enjoyable.
Cute read - not my favorite of JL's (so far that spot goes to the Wrong Reasons series) but overall, an enjoyable book. I loved to see Aubrey grow as a person. Jess was a bit hot and cold in my opinion, I never knew how he was going to act about something. Definitely not one of my favorite male leads. Liked the signing competition part of the book but was surprised it only lasted for half or so of the novel, from the description I expected it to be based off of that. Can't complain too much, JL has yet to disappoint!
Not quite as good as I thought it would be. I actually thought the relationship argument would be switched, the girl wanting a relationship is different, often it`s the guy who wants one in the way the book explination said. Other than the slight sex scenes it seemed to be for a slightly younger audiance, young to mid teens, the writing style wasn't at a higher level, a little young. A little dissapointed.
I really enjoyed this book. It was sappy and romantic in a good way. I've read several other books by this author and have always enjoyed the celebrity element that is involved. They really know know to make a romantic story slightly less girly. While I still sigh when I read it, I don't finish feeling like I'm dripping in estrogen. Another good job!
I liked the book, and it has a decent story line, but it lacked that little bit of oomph that jl,Paul's,other books have. It didn't grasp me in the way id like it to have. The characters were nicely developed and written it, it was a smooth read. But it is worth reading. jL ,Paul,is a talented novelist and I will continue to read more book releases.
It was good but not as good as I thought it would be. I just wanted more to happen. It was just an average predictable story. Although I was hooked from the beginning and I did love the characters. Good quick read!
It was a okay read for me couldn't really get into it like the last book I read by J.L Paul which was out at Home. They both had simpler plot story, but I found myself becoming bored with the story it was like it was on repeat thought the hole book.
