Quinn Myles loves her life. She’s in a kick-ass rock band and they’re on their way to the big-time. If only her two band-mates hadn’t told her how they felt, she could have controlled her own desires. And choosing between them might tear the band apart.
Rex Campbell used to enjoy life on the road and the groupies that came with it. That was before he realized he was mad crazy about Quinn Myles. He knows he’s the man for her, and if it takes sharing her with Beau once to prove it, he will.
Beau’s willing. Now, to convince Quinn…

Lead singer and guitarist Quinn Myles has a problem: she is in love with her two band mates, Rex and Beau. Rather than choose one of them and destroy their band and friendship, she refused them both.
And regrets it. A lot.
Finally, she decides she can no longer live with these desires and gives in to temptation. For one night she will get all she wants with no regrets, Beau and Rex together at one time. It will be the final chance to realize her dream of loving them before she leaves and tries to forget them. Together they were heat and fire; it was all Quinn imagined it to be. Plus something else. Something none of them had expected.
I won't tell you what the three decide after their night together. Although if you read the next book in the series, you might find out for yourself. ;)
This book was a very quick read, only about forty some pages, but they were good pages. I didn't feel as if the story was too rushed; it did help that the characters already had a connection before the story starts.
There were only minor instances that kicked me out of the story, but these were brief and forgotten by the next page. And these instances involved the band mates and groupies. It is hard to believe that two men who profess to love one woman have no problem having sex with other women while their love is next door. Also, when Quinn decided to give in and join her band mates, she was apparently willing to join the two men and the groupie they were already with.
I would have liked to seen more interaction between the characters and how this contributes to Quinn's decision. This story could have been improved with the addition of a few more pages. It was like a small slice of pie: satisfying but with room for more. :)
NOTE: this book is a part of EC's Exotica imprint, which is their erotica line.
Cover The cover for this book is some kind of hawt! However, it doesn't really give a good impression of what the book is about. I think it is geared toward reflecting the EC "Quickies" imprint than the story. It doesn't detract from the story but it doesn't add anything to it. Unless you buy your books based on the nakedness of the cover model. Then it is awesome and totally works!
Exactly what it says it was. Short story, like 40 some odd pages, total hotness with 2 rockers, woo hoo, enough story line to make not just a sex scene, likable characters, and a perfect in between. I have had it on my kindle forever, at least a year, maybe longer., and on my TBR list for even longer. :)
This was short, but sweet. Rex, Beau, and Quinn are in an indie rock band. They're on tour. They normally have two tour buses -- one for Quinn, one for Beau and Rex, but Quinn's bus broke down, so instead of shelling out the money for a new bus, she's been traveling with them. Several months ago, both Rex and Beau came clean with Quinn about their feelings for her, but Quinn didn't want to mess up a good thing with the band, and also she didn't think she'd be able to choose between them.
So now, staying with them on the bus, she sees how they are with groupies -- taking full advantage of their availability. And Quinn can hear it and she's jealous. But she can't really begrudge them the girls since she turned them down.
But one night, near the end of their tour, she can no longer stand to hear her guys pleasure another woman. So she steps in to join them. Just once, she says. They'll go back to bandmates in the morning. But the groupie is not down with having another girl involved, so she leaves. Leaving just Quinn, Rex, and Beau. And it's sweet and it's hot, but now Quinn is completely confused about where they go from here. She knows it can't just forget their night, but she's also realized she can't ever be with them both again.
So we get an HEA which always makes me happy. But this was a Quickie, so very short, which often makes it difficult for me to really feel invested in the characters. So I enjoyed it, but it wasn't fantabulous.
My Quickie Review: Whoa, what a great little erotic story. I really fell in love with it. It's set up extremely well with the band where all three members find themselves in love with each other...not good for the longevity of the band to have two men, Beau and Rex, in love with their female bandmate, Quinn. And of course, since Quinn's touring bus has broken down, they suddenly all have to live together....very uncomfortable when you have two men with raging libidos and groupies at every turn. But the story works and turns out really hot. I liked it...a LOT...and immediately upon finishing went to Amazon and bought the next in the series.
Very cute short story about Quinn and the two boys who want her most. Bandmates Rex and Beau. When she decides to give in to temptation, all three have a revelation. One that doesn't revolve around a permanent-manage relationship.
The sex was HOT, the story was surprisingly deep for such a quick read, and Rex was a delicious hunk of man that knew just how to treat his lady. Me likey.
This is a super quick, super sexy read. I read my books on a Kindle so it is sometimes difficult to tell how long the stories will be. This is definitely a novela. If you're looking for some hot scenes with a quick story line - this book is for you.
21 pages in and quit. In no way, shape or form, do I care what happens. All because, in less Quinn is into kink. She really wouldn't want to join in, as one of the guys is doing a female band slut. Nope!
This was a pretty good story. I liked the characters and the story was short but was well written and worked well for it's length.
Quinn is the lead singer and guitarist for Hank Lemon and the Law, an Indy rock band. Her band-mates are Rex and Beau. They've been friends for a while but she realized that she had feelings for both of them. Problem is they both have expressed feelings for her in return but since she couldn't choose one, she refused both of them, not wanting to cause issues within the band and their friendships. Problems arise when her tour bus breaks down and she's forced to ride in the men's bus...and has to hear their escapades with the groupies night after night.
Rex is the drummer for the band. Beau is the fiddle player. They both are good guys and don't realize Quinn actually has feelings for them, thinking she refused them both because she doesn't feel that way for either of them. They never thought of the fact that she might have feelings for both of them.
The story starts out with poor Quinn stuck on the tour bus having to listen to Rex and Quinn with a groupie. She's not happy about it but knows she can't complain since she's on their bus and she did refuse to be with either of them 6 months before. She has the unfortunate luck to meet the groupie when the 3 come out of the room for a break, who invites Quinn to join the 3 when they go back to the bedroom. She refuses but it starts an idea in her head that she'd like to be with the 2 men just once, thinking that surely it couldn't be any worse afterwards than what she's suffering through now.
The next night, Quinn gets the courage to ask for a night with Rex and Beau. They have a hot night but there's some tension as Rex isn't happy about Beau being there (although he doesn't say anything). Regardless, he and Quinn make a real connection between them that night and Beau sees it. After Quinn and Rex fall to sleep, Beau does some serious thinking, realizing that his feelings for Quinn aren't really love, at least not the true love you'd need for a real relationship. He also realizes that Rex's feelings for Quinn are true and that she seems to feel the same for Rex and Beau realizes he has to help his friends. In the morning, Quinn wakes, realizing what she's done and that her feelings for Rex are much stronger than what she feels for Beau. She still doesn't feel like she should come forward about those feelings though because it would cause hard feelings. There's a little drama as things get tangled before they get straightened out. Fortunately, Beau is a good friend and encourages Rex to work things out with Quinn, giving them his blessing. Rex finds Quinn and they talk things out, admit their love for each other and start their HEA.
This was a pretty enjoyable story. I liked the characters and felt for them all. The author managed to get a lot of feeling packed in to such a short story and while I normally don't like love triangle stories, I liked this one. I think I'm going to have to read the next book in the series though because now I want to see Beau get his HEA. I'd recommend this story. :D
Being in love with your two best friends is a disaster. If only she hadn’t listened to them when both Beau and Rex told her that they loved her, things would have been so much easier. And since Quinn can’t choose between the two of them she is taking the high road and avoiding both of them as much as possible. Having to listen to the cries of a pleasured woman between the two greatest guys she knows is slowing killing Quinn, but can she take the chance and let them bring her to those heights of pleasure then be able to act as if nothing happened between them? Or will she have to break up the band just to make her heart stop breaking each night?
Rex has been in love with Quinn since the first time her heard her sing, and making a band with her and his best friend Beau had seemed like a good idea until his feelings got involved. If only Quinn wouldn’t avoid him she would see that he wants her for the long haul and not just for a toss in the hay. But can Rex really fight Beau for Quinn and be happy if he doesn’t win her in the end? Will both he and Beau end up broken-hearted or will Quinn make them both the happiest men in the world?
Beau knows for certain he doesn’t want to lose Quinn or Rex from his life, so if he needs to play a little down and dirty to keep his band family together then that is what he will do. Beau is willing to risk it all on a night of passion with the hopes that in the light of day things will go in a positive direction for the three of them.
Chloe Cole is a new to me author and impressed me right off the bat. This was a great story that made pant with the need to read more stories by her. These three characters were well-rounded and real, and really drew me in from page one. The story flowed well, and didn’t seem too rushed or forced, plus the sex was hot and realistic and left me wanting a lot more in the end.
I will definitely be looking for more works by Chloe Cole and I know she will make a great addition to anyones keeper shelf.

Convincing Quinn was a sexual experiment with consequences.
Quinn is the lead singer in a band. She runs into a problem with the guys that she thought as friends want to be more than that. To make things worse her tour bus breaks down and she has to share their bus. What’s a girl to do?
Rex and Beau are thinking that they might be done with all the groupies that goes along with the rock band business. They’ve set their sights on Quinn and that makes things a little rough in the band.
I really liked the way the story was. You had three characters and they each had decisions to make. If they could share one woman or if they both lost. The chemistry between them was coming off the pages.
When Quinn decided to give it a go because she was tired of all the groupies and wanting to be in their place. I could tell that it was a really hard decision to make and she was afraid of the consequences of what would happen afterwards. I can say that the sex was explosive. Not as much as I thought it would be.
This is one quickie story that I was happy with the ending and I can’t wait to read the next book to see what that one is about.
Hank Lemon and The Law are an indi-rock band on a 3 month tour. Quinn Myles is their lead singer/guitarist. 2 months into the tour her bus breaks down and she accepts the offer to stay on the "man bus" with her band mates, Rex Campbell and Beau Trudeau.
The past week has Quinn nearly at breaking point having to listen to Rex and Beaus' sexcapades with groupies in the bedroom next door. 6 months earlier they had both professed their love for her, and asked her to choose. But how could she choose when she loves them both? Or what if she chose and caused a rift between them?
One night after a concert in Atlanta, Quinn decides to go for it. After all, surely she can have them once and walk away, can't she? Or will it end in disaster for all?
Chloe Coles' portrayal of her characters pulls the reader in and immerses them in the story. This is a steamy read that will have the reader panting for more. This story could be brilliant if expanded but even so its a great little read.

This one was fun! First of all, it's about a rock band! Yay! And one that has not one, but two hunky guys in it... And the lead singer, Quinn - who is in love with her bandmates, who are in love with her, but she doesn't want to choose and cause a rift in the band and between friends... What's a girl to do? She finally gets the nerve up to ask the guys for one night and makes a discovery... I loved how we got to know the characters, I was drawn into their world and wanted to know more. This one tugged at my heartstrings a bit, as well. It was short, but jam-packed with sexual tension, emotion, and some great sex. :) Can't wait to devour the rest of the series.
This is a hot little number at only 49 pages. This is book one in the Rock Hard series and I can’t wait to snatch up the next one! Chloe Cole does not disappoint with her delectable tale of hidden love coming out in an explosive way.
All three characters are in the predicament of wanting to take a friendship a step farther, but not wanting to ruin their friendship or career. The sexual tension in Quinn having to listen makes for an even sweeter surrender. A great story with an ending that leaves you eager for the next chapter.
This gets a solid Nicely Naughty from me. I liked that the menage aspect was a little different than what I normally read - Quinn loved both of the guys but she's not in love with both guys. It worked. I'd definitely read more in this series in the future.
This book was a free Kindle download I picked up 12/17/12 for the Why Buy the Cow? reading challenge.
Quinn is part of a successful rock band who is torn between the two lead males. Both of them want her...but is she willing to go along with that type of encounter and/or relationship? Resolving this dilemma will take some soul searching, hard questions about what each person truly wants, and of course some very hot sex. Nothing too complicated about the story, but it is surprisingly tender at times given the nature of their work and encounters. A good story to read for that quick need.
While this book features a m/f/m menage, I really appreciated it the HEA did not feature the typical "everyone magically gets along and is perfect" ending. Instead the situation was resolved in an interesting and realistic way.
Absolutely loved it! I really enjoy stories with a band and this had all the right elements for me! I was somewhat surprised that Quinn & Rex went on as a couple, but I really liked how it worked out!!! This is one steamy read that will be reread many more times .
I really liked the dynamic in this story between the three characters. But the author did a good job of setting up the expectations of what would happen in the end. Can't wait to read more in this series.

Hot and steamy. Absolutely loved Rex. As far as threesomes go, this was a very sweet one. The author did a good job putting me in the head of the characters. The cover and the story was a bit of a mismatch--the story was a very pleasant surprise.
Quinn has been told by 2 of her band mates that they are in love with her. She doesnt want to break up a good thing so she wont pick between them. But she cant take seeing them bring girl after girl in for a "good time". So she decides that she has to do something about this.
So, if you like your "sexy" with story then this one is for you, it was a well written storyline, even though it's a little shorter than some books, I found the characters relatable.
3 1/2 stars. I was pleasantly surprised with this story. I was a little worried about the menage but the author made it work. For a short story the characters were niced developed.
