I was so excited to start reading this! First a thank you to Jennifer Wright for giving me this arc. The first two parts were so good that I knew part 3 would be awesome and it was.

Chloe was settling down with her new life after her mom had died and learning about who her mom really was as well as who her father really was. Her father was a vampire and her mother was the best vampire hunter anyone knew. One day during her training she finds out that she has the power of fire. Setting things on fire which comes in handy when the one person you want to kill is a vampire. One night an attack happens in the town she is living in because her father has been sending people to capture her. Some people die or get hurt one person that gets hurt is Luke her grandpa. Then she gets asks to go to a dance by the most popular boy in school, but when she gets done dress shopping she see's someone. Chloe's gut is telling her that its her father.

Thats where this amazing story ends, well this part anyways. I say what one heck of a way to end a book! I tell ya Jennifer Wright knows how to leave you wanting more! This part had fighting in it and I think its leading towards a huge fighting seen sometime maybe in the next book or so between Chloe and her father. I can not wait to read that part. Trust me when I say when you read this you will not be disappointed well maybe at then end because of how the writers leaves it but I mean come on most good writers leave their book on cliffhangers

Author Jennifer Malone Wright continues to keep this series rolling along at a mesmerizing once, one that has each part in my opinion better than the last installment!!!

I have read the complete series, and absolutely loved it… although each have fascinating aspects and all full of an ongoing suspense, there’s just something more intriguing to this installment that makes it stand out from the previous ones so far….

Chloe is going through so much turmoil inside, anger is at the forefront after the village is attacked. Some of her vampire hunter family are killed, and many others injured: her Grandpa Luke is pretty seriously injured.
Chloe feels responsible for whats been happening, because it’s her own father who keeps sending vampires to capture her, to try and take her to him and away from those who fight to protect her at all costs.

Theres a New Years eve party on the horizon, and yes Chloe has a date… with the most popular guy at her school!!! You guessed it, this isn’t sitting to well with Drew by no means… I’m not going to give away any more of the story, this is a series that you must take the time to enjoy and grow to love on your own…. Sorry, so if you are already reading this story, keep reading on, and if you haven’t started reading it yet I have to ask you one question, why not? The next part/installment is even better.

All the characters’ and their personalities are growing more intense throughout this installment. (Becoming)

And once again as I always seen to do, I have found myself picking or teaming up pairs in this series too.

Recommend: 17 and up

Anne here back to review Part 3 of The Vampire Hunters Daughter and the series just keeps getting better. As Chloe journeys through her new life as hunter she also must deal with the struggle of being part vampire. Chloe has accepted her role in the community and is striving to reach her ultimate goal of revenge against her mothers murderer, but Chloe is special in more ways than she knows. She is visited by an ancient goddess and gifted a piece of weaponry that she will love and treasure. When Chloe reveals that she has been visited her grandfather now knows that Chloe is meant to be a deciding factor in a age long war. Loved Part 3 of this series Chloe is really coming into her life and starting to take a firm hold of who she is and what she must do. 5 out of 5 stars for The Vampire Hunters Daughter Part 3 by Jennifer Malone Wright.

It seems like the short stories in this series get better and better! I couldn’t put this one down. The third story is filled with action and leads up to a very suspenseful ending. The war that is beginning to take place between the vampires and the vampire hunters because of Chloe’s father reminds me a lot of Amanda Hocking’s Trylle trilogy. I’m also beginning to fall in love with the characters – especially Drew and Chloe’s grandfather, Luke. I can’t wait to read the next part!

I am loving this serial novel! I am sad that there is currently only one more for me to read! I think this one is my favorite, so far. The action was good and we finally see Trevor. I also love how we are starting to see the characters on deeper levels, especially Drew. This installment officially marks when this series moved to my "favorite" category!

* I will be reviewing these books all together so the rating reflects all three books. Possible spoilers ahead*

After reading books after books over the past few weeks, I felt like I needed a break to read something short, fun and easy. Trying to pick the book was the hard part but when I seen the author was giving away FREE copies away of part one of this series, I suddenly knew which series to try. And I got exactly what I wanted with The Vampire Hunter's Daughter.......a short, fun and easy read!

This story follows the life of a young girl named Chloe who one night watches her mother be killed....right in front her. When Chloe awakes she's been taken to a safe haven where she quickly learns it's her grandfather’s house and that the people that killed her mother aren't humans but vampires. Chloe also find out that she comes from a long line of Vampire Hunters who protect people from vampires but how can Chloe be a hunter when she's a half-vampire? Now knowing who she really is Chloe is determined to to seek revenge on her vampire father for killing her vampire hunter mother but first she needs to train and train hard to become the best.

As Chloe starts training with help from Drew, it’s not long before she encounters her first vampire since her mother's murder and even though she knows what to do, she freezes leaving Drew to save the day. She now knows she needs to train harder than ever and when she does it's obvious that she is more advanced than any other hunters. Maybe being half vampire hunter and half vampire isn't so bad after all?

The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter books are fast paced and exciting short stories. This really isn’t a series I’d recommend if you want something long or complicated, it is what it is and short stories are always going to be short stories. Now I think the author; Jennifer Malone Wright did a really good job introducing Chloe. Chloe’s life is turned upside down when her mother is murdered and it was captured within the first few lines. Now Chloe as a character, I thought she was strong and easy to like, I did think she was a little rash at times. Like the way she reacts to Drew but I think that’s her trying to hide her feelings. Do I smell a possible romance brewing? I hope so because I think adding the romance aspect into the story now would be great. Drew’s a great character too but I’d like to get to know him a little more, he’s kind of in the back-ground at the moment helping Chloe train so I’d like to see them interact that much more.

The storyline is exciting but at times a little too easily resolved and a little predictable but nonetheless still enjoyable. I almost wish the novels were bigger so we could connect to the characters that much more but again that would defeat the point of them being short.

Overall, The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter books have had a great start and I’m eager to see what comes next.

Thank you to the author for giving me the opportunity to review these books.

I decided to do a review on all three of these books, as they are only small novellas and I read them one after another in one sitting.

I first heard about this series from a few of my friends on Goodreads and decided to check them out on Amazon, seeing how cheap they were I went ahead and bought them.

I got sucked into the story right away, and like I said I read them all back to back! All three books are captivating and well written. The main character Chloe does seem very mature for her age, I did have to keep reminding myself that she is only 14, and not 16 or 17 as the main characters in most YA usually are.

The story line follow Chloe as she witnesses her mother's murder before her very eyes, by vampires. Not just any vampires of course, ones sent to kidnap Chloe and take her back to her father. Having no clue about her father, Chloe soon comes to realise that he is a vampire and suddenly all the moving about she has had to do over the years makes sense, her mother has been trying to protect her.

Safe from the vampire in her newly acquainted grandfather's house, Chloe begins to learn that her mother was a vampire hunter, and a pretty darn good one at that. Which also makes Chloe very unique, she is the offspring of a vampire and a vampire hunter, what on earth could that mean for her future?

I really enjoyed these books, they are well written, easy to follow and the story is unbelievably easy to get caught up in. So caught up in fact I didn't ever hear my phone ringing 3 separate times while I was reading these!
Chloe is a great main character, she is lovable and easy to relate to. She is the kind of main character I love in YA books, young but mature for her age, courageous but also a little insecure at times. All of these qualities make her seem more real to the reader.

The plot line is something fresh in the YA Paranormal market, vampire books are usually mostly always have the same concepts but these books are something different and unusual.
I especially liked the twist about Chloe's heritage and cannot wait to find out what happens in book 4!

Part Three of the Vampire Hunter's Daughter is another novella.
It is fast paced, full of action and surprises. This time it is Christmas time and Chloe is expecting a quiet day. However, Grandpa Luke has a large traditional Christmas celebration for anyone in the town who wants to come. Of course, the gifts are all weapons and she make sure to give Drew some throwing stars that have been engraved with comical saying such as "vampire's suck" and "bite me." After the gifts had been opened Chloe quietly sits by the tree remembering her mother. Drew agrees to take Chloe to the cemetery to visit her mother's grave. At the gravesite, she is suddenly visited by the goddess Sostrate. She is told not to continue her vengeance against the vampires in hate but to use love of her mother to motivate her. The goddess gives Chloe with a gift of a bow and arrows.

Since Chloe is out of school for Christmas break she investigates her Dhampir heritage at the library. She continues to train everyday and learns of her new power. She is also asked out on a date for the New Year's Bash. Before she can even fathom her new found interest in boys, another attempt to kidnap her comes to fruition. For once she reacts like a true hunter managing to kill her attackers.

Once again this is a short read and full of surprises. It is nice to see Chloe growing more confident in who she is. She defintely is not longer a victim. I just wish the books were longer.

This is the 3rd installment to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Series. This is Chloe's first Christmas without her mother. She decides she needs to visit her mother's grave to help with the grieving process. Drew agrees to take her since she doesn't know where the grave is, her mother had requested that there be no services. While there, Chloe and Drew are surprised by a visit from a immortal demi-god that gives Chloe some much needed advice and a gift. Things seem to get stranger and stranger for Chloe. If things weren't already hard enough, she learns that she has inherited a special gift that she must lean how to control. To top it off, the community is attacked because of her being there. She now wonders if she should just give herself up to save the community. She now has a huge decision to make.

Another great installment. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I am so happy to have been able to read and review this series!!
I love this series so much! I have always been all about vampires until I started reading this series. The author knows how to make you want to be the hunter and not the hunted!! Ever since I read TVHD part 1 I have felt so sorry for Chloe and what she has and still going threw. But now she has to go threw her very first Christmas with out her mother. I am all about Team Drew!!! I hope that Chloe takes her rightful place with the Hunters and finishes what she so disparately wants and needs to do, to keep herself and her family safe against Trevor and the vampires who are after her. I can't wait to see what happens in part 4....This is a must read!! Get your copy now and find out if you are the hunter or the hunted!

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the third by in The Vampire Hunter's Daughetr series by Jennifer Malone Wright. The author has continued to shock me in each book. More surprises unfold in this installmet. For such a short story there is definitely a lot going on. We meet a Demi- goddess, vampires die, hunters die, dating is happening lol and I'm sure more stuff will be going down by the next book. You know, just your typical kick ass events that make book by Jennifer Malone Wright great. Chloe learns a lot about herself and her heritage in this book and I can't wait to see how that knowledge is applied to the book. People if you haven't read this series you need too!!

Review to follow Awesome job!

Feeling lonely, responsible, and guilty for the things that have been happening, Chloe has to think with a clear head. Revenge has taken over her heart and soul, so much of you that she cannot possibly win. She must face her feelings and make the right choices and change her perspectives to win. What will Chloe decide to? Good vs Evil. Anger alone can't win.

Again Jennifer Malone Wright amazes me with the world buliding up suspense, mystery, and action-packed fight scenes...
I absolutely love this short story series

Chloe's adventures in this installment were something that I did not see coming! The author has hooked me yet again with the story line. I love the twists and turns that are incorporated throughout this series. This is definitely not your typical vampire/hunter story! I would recommend this series to all who like an original vampire/hunter story line :)

These are incredibly short stories. Not even all three parts together made hundred pages on my nook. The story is light and easy, and a breeze to slide through. I like the plot and characters, but see potential in this author. Look forward to seeing what she will have in the future, and hope to see a slightly longer story.

Her true heritage is revealed and a very distant relative bestows some much needed gifts and guidance but it’s just the beginning. Danger lurks and rears it’s ugly face each time her guard is down. It’s apparent that the MC has much to learn on her journey. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

I am so sad that I have had this book for over a year and it just sat in my Kindle, sadly, waiting for me to open it and read it.

Gah! I am such a crazy person sometimes.

I hate it when I have no idea that a wonderful series is just sitting there, waiting for me to get my act together and start it.

I am so glad that the author nudged me into starting it. If I hadn't who knows how long it would have sat there and I would have been missing out.

I love discovering series that are just fabulous and yet unknown. I love spreading the word about them.

And this is quite the series. Right away we are swept into the story with a whirl wind of non stop action as Chloe's whole life is about to take a drastic change and secrets are revealed.

After she witnesses the brutal murder of her mother by vampires and saved by another group of vampire hunters, Chloe learns there was a lot she didn't know about her mother's life and even her own.

She finds out that not only was her mother a vampire hunter from a prestigious blood line and one of the best there were but that her father also happens to be a vampire and he has been searching for her since the day she was born.

If that wasn't weird enough she is thrown into a new town and home, a community especially designed for vampire hunter where she learns she has a grandfather she never knew existed and that she too, will be training to take her mother's place in the family line.

Yep, her world is about to change.

This is such a fun series and I love that it is broken up in parts (may sound strange to some, I know) I love that I can read it when I don't have a whole lot of time and still get something action packed and that will leave me eager to start the next installment. And each installment just keeps getting better and better.

I do have to warn you though, this will be a series that you will want more than one part before you start it because, one just won't be enough. And the great part? you can try the first part in this series for free, you can purchase it on Amazon and Smashwords free of charge. Pretty fabulous right?

So what are you waiting for, go out, give it a try. You won't regret it!

I give this series a very solid 4 Stars and can't wait to read more!!!

** This review is of the first 4 volumes in this series.**

Did I enjoy this book: I did! I was looking for a low-intensity, fun little read, and I found it! Wright sent me the whole series at once, but I love the idea of publishing a book bit by bit – it’s a nice little reminder of the days when authors published things piecemeal in magazines. There were a few little editing issues, but nothing so major as to distract.

Chloe’s great – I’d have written her a few years older, but she’s a weird, funny little thing, and it works. She’s got a great sense of humor about her own hunter-vampire-demigod status, and I love her snark. The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter has all the ingredients for a delicious little end-of-the-evening reading snack: the ever present love triangle, a meanie-pants father, some kick-ass fight scenes, and, of course, teen angst. I finished the whole thing in an evening.

Would I recommend it: For Sure! Since I’m, um, ::ahem:: 29 ::ahem:: and the heroine of the series is only 14, it’s one of those fun little books I’d probably hide under my bed if other grown-ups came to visit, but hey. I liked it, and if you’re into the whole vampire trend, I bet you’ll like it too.

Will I read it again: I’m definitely going to finish the series!

Part three finished and i am still really loving this story. So i think i can safely say that i recommend it to anyone listening.

In this part Chloe is struggling with her first Christmas without her mother. She decides to go and visit her mother's grave and while there she is visited by her Immortal ancestor that tells her that she must use love to fight her enemies instead of hate. She told her hate comes easier to her as she is part Vampire. She parts ways from her by giving her a gift of bow and arrows.

Later Chloe learns that she can conjure fire willingly and she isn't altogether happy about this fact. Not knowing who she is and whether she is gaining these gifts from her Vampire Hunter mother or her Evil Vampire father she decides to research her Vampire side a little more.

Chloe seems to be growing a little more in this part. She is beginning to understand her situation a little better and seems to be coming to terms with who she is and wanting to know more about her history. Her sanctuary has been attacked and she now knows just how violent these vampires can be and how far her father will really go to get what he wants. She has to decide if it is worth putting the people she cares about in danger just because her father wants her. Should she give herself up to protect those people or keep fighting?
