In addition to demonstrating the practical application of the stencils to a wide range of surfaces using different media, Helen illustrates how each stencil can be used in different configurations, sizes, or colorways to create dramatically different looks. There are 20 specially commissioned stencil templates included with the projects and all the other designs featured are available from The Stencil Library.

I received this book off of Goodreads First Reads.

This book is great. It says in the description that it comes with stencil templates. I figured that meant they would be printed on paper, and I would have to cut them out myself like I've seen in other books, but that isn't the case. The stencil is cut out of a hard plastic like material that can be easily removed from the book.

The designs and ideas are great. How-to for everything to pillows to cupcakes.This is perfect for everyone who likes crafts. Or doesn't like crafts and just wants some easy ideas for how to spruce up the place.

It's simple to fallow and even comes with several ready to use stencils. If you the creative DIY stenciling type, this book would be perfect for you!
