This book- kindly written, scholarly, scriptural and sensible would be a great help to any wishing to know more about the modern charismatic movement. Dr. Rice goes into great detail to show what the Bible teaches about the matter of tongues and divine healing. With a great reverence toward God and his word Dr. Rice does not shrink back from exposing falsehood nor from espousing Bible doctrine.
I read this book years ago as a young Christian and greatly benefited from it. I dare say I gleaned as much help from it now, as a seasoned pastor, as I did then. Highly recommended.
