The same author who wrote treasure island and Dr. Jyckel and Mr. Hyde. Obviously he had put less efforts in this novel than the others.

Classic comics are a great way to introduce classic works to those with lower reading skills and those who just think classics are boring. I've used these in various classrooms over the years with good results.

The stories miss many details and depth of the original but remain true to the story. The artwork is very well done and often fills in details otherwise missed.

While I will never replace the originals with these, they are such a great little trip that they're worth the read for anyone.
