Informative but a bit confusing. I know it’s meant to be a brief reference guide but I almost feel like too much information is missing and while the illustrations are helpful actual photos of each would have been great.

A practical and beautifully illustrated guide on North American trees and how to identify them. I stumbled on it in the library and it was delightful to read, especially because it's pocket sized. I've learned so much about trees, though I think the book works best when used as a guide to identify, as intended.
