Outdated, formulaic case studies whose only merit is that, yes, some of these cases do occur in middle schools and teachers and administrative staff are left to navigate and puzzle them out on their own or in teams. Sadly, I don’t think it holds too much direct comparison to the world today and the further complexities that exist in the secondary classroom.
