The advice isn't bad, but I think you'd have to already be quite good and practiced at giving presentations to benefit from it.

This book contains a lot of snappy tips on effective public speaking. However, it lacks a good throughline or underlying system that lets you truly internalize the advice. This lack makes the book feel somewhat disjointed: having read all these independent tips, I do not know how to start implementing them, how to remember them all, or even how I would look for a specific one that I did remember. The authors could have tried harder to apply their DIAMOND framework to the book itself, making it clearer in the process.

If you're just looking for a bag of tips, this is the book for you. They're mostly even good ones, although many will be covered in other material on this topic as well. But if you want some more profound knowledge about effective communication, I'd look elsewhere.

Point Made!

This book exemplifies its own teachings in a way that grips you and entertains you simultaneously. I recommend it to anyone who must communicate with today's 'get-to-the-point' listeners. Very helpful.

Productivo, tiene una lectura muy clara, me gusta que no contenga ejemplos que luego ensucien tu propio estilo de adoptar el metodo.

Teaches you how to public speak. Useful information but not a book I was excited to read. Just kind of read it to get the information.

Useful tips

Easy to read and follow. A lot of tips to practice for being a better presenter. I will rinse and repeat each tip until to be master.

Another book, unfortunately, focused on giving presentations. However, there are good tips about communication in general.

In fact, after reading it, I found myself thinking about the book when dealing with a communication-related situation and realized that I had taken away a bit more than I initially thought.

If your communication skills are already decent and you want to get into the "good" to "very good" territory, this book isn't for you. Its content is not groundbreaking.

There are some good tips, though; if you aren't all that good with communication, then I think this book can help you. I will recommend it to some people.

Kevin’s message of “Make your point” is evident in every single chapter of this book. Every one walks away with Clarity, conciseness, color, conviction and control of their messaging. I can very rarely read a book in one go and finished this in 3 hours, must say GREAT READ.
