144 pages of knitting: past, present, and future (depending on what the reader makes of it, of course). All of these techniques are more thoroughly explained in 144 other knitting design books...BUT if you want to see your designs with a true artist's eye, then the chapters on Texture, Colour, and Pattern are 5-star! Nor did I find any new patterns in the Stitch Library, BUT the coloured photos and detailed instructions inspire me to work each one in 144 new colorways. I love seeing traditional craftsmanship in new ways, so I'm glad that I found this one--okay, so it screams 1990s, but what an excellent diving board...
