Secrets

Rate this book
Second in a new trilogy from the beloved author of Scandal.

Enslaved by an Indian mogul, Christian English has nothing of his own except his name. But due to an acute case of amnesia, he's not even sure what his real identity is. Was he a pauper or a prince? A pickpocket or a parson? So when fellow Englishman Gideon Harwood rescues him, Christian seizes the chance to return to England to seek his true history.

Then fate brings him face-to-face with Gideon's sister, Bethany—and an all-consuming passion threatens to devour them. But Christian may already be married. And Bethany has a sordid secret for which she cannot forgive herself. To join together, they must find the courage to confront the past—and forge a future of unending love.

I loved Bethany and Christian, it is always much more enjoyable of a book when the two main characters aren't portrayed as annoying shrews and man whores.
