Lovely illustrations, though I think it was a mistake to depict God's face, even his hand. Nice idea to lift the text from the Bible, though maybe some judicious cutting would have improved the flow. The story is one of the most dramatic and memorable from the Bible, and has lots of animals and a big boat - but presented as a children's story, what comes across strongest is the cruelty and possibly volatile temper of God. He punishes - as in 'destroys' - every living thing on Earth for the bad behavior of men. What does that teach children?
