Christie has defined herself by her wheelchair and has created a world filled with ‘I can’t’. When she meets her marathon running, salsa dancing neighbor, Marcus, he tries to show her that there is more to life than self-imposed limits and other peoples’ judgments.
Will Christie open her heart and her mind to her sexy neighbor, or will the pain of her past keep her a prisoner in her own life?

Danica Winters is an Amazon bestselling author who has won multiple awards for writing books that grip readers with their ability to drive emotion through suspense and occasionally a touch of magic. Most recently, Danica was the winner of the Paranormal Romance Guild’s Paranormal Romantic Suspense Book of the Year Award and Chanticleer Media’s Paranormal Book of the Year for her novel Montana Mustangs. When she’s not working, she can be found in the wilds of Montana testing her patience while she tries to understand the allure of various crafts (quilting, pottery, and painting are not her thing). She always believes the cup is neither half full nor half empty, but it better be filled with wine.
This was a short read, possibly taking only about ten minutes or so, but it certainly did not detract from the wonderful storyline. From the first word, I knew that I would love it, and it undoubtedly did not disappoint. It is a short, sweet Christmas story, with a learning curve. Christie learns this throughout the progress of the story. Marcus, her dashingly handsome next door neighbour is the one who teaches her a valuable lesson, showing us the reader, that we are to appreciate the smaller things we have in our lives. This short story really placed me into the Christmas mood, as it hasn’t been feeling at all Christmasy! It was a fabulous read, and I would gladly give it a massive 5 out of 5 stars!
Christie is a young pretty girl who had a bad start. She had a accident and now is confined to a wheelchair. She has dated a little but it always ends, when the guy figures out she is different and can't do everything a "normal" woman can. She is angry and too proud for her own good. It is Christmas time and she is rolling home from the store. As she gets close to home Christie sees her neighbor Marcus. He is cute and is always running by her house. He always seems to give her a little wave when he notices her staring at him. Having trouble going up her ice covered ramp into the house, Christie notices Marcus out for a run He asks if she needs help? Marcus has been running by the beautiful Christies house in hopes to ask her out. But until now has never gotten up the never to ask. Will Marcus be the one to finally break through her tough exterior to reach her heart? Can Marcus accept her and all her issues and more importantly will Christie let go of her past and open her heart at long last?
Even though it is not that close to Christmas, not even Halloween yet! When I read the intro to this book I knew I had to read it. In most romances, someone is flawed in some way. It could be the way the hero or heroine sees ones self, or how they are perceived by others or a physical issue. What ever it is, they must over come something. This one is no different but the heroine has a true disability that I can relate to. My husband who is in a wheelchair has dealt with many of the feeling that Christie deals with. I see how stares can be cruel. But I personal can relate to Marcus. I know that even though a person has some physical limitations, doesn't mean they can't live a happy full life, with normal dreams and ambitions. This story was short but gives you just a glimpse into a woman's life, who hasn't really been living at all. Marcus, likes her a lot, not out of pity. He knows he can make her happy and he wants to be that person to do just that. I think that regardless of our own personal issues we need to live life the best we can. This book was a very good short read. I would have loved to see a longer version of it. That was my only complaint, I wanted to know more about the characters and even how there lives ended up.

This story is short but sweet. So beautiful, i love it when you find love in the most unexpected ways. Her mother is a trip, lol. I still can't believe her mom has a hot boyfriend. What a Christmas Eve surprise. Santa could not bring her a gift that could even compare to the one she has received. Be warned this story involves a hot, buffy neighbor :D Love it :D He is so sweet *swoon*. I am not sure if you made more for these two characters, but i love them to death.
Wow! Danica Winters is a wonderful storyteller. A Christmas Miracle was one of those feel good books that makes anyone smile. When the heroine meets the hero in this book, sparks instantly fly... and of course, it doesn't matter that she is in a wheelchair, or has the personality of a doom and gloom... there is love in the air this Christmas, and with a little holiday magic and the right kind of timing...anything can happen!
