I liked the idea of this better than how it works. Although I enjoyed the illustrations, I wish it could have kept the original place in the illustrations but as soon as we get to the town level, it disappears.

I like the concept but we were disappointed that once the view zooms out to the town, you can no longer spot the school and the house. It was small but it still felt like a disconnect, for me. :( Me on the Map does a better job with this concept.
