This book was hilarious, romantic, and just so wonderful. I couldn't decide if I disliked Austin or not at first but realizing that he reminded me of a high school bestie as well as parts of myself back in high school and college, it made me smile. He is the type you just need to get used to. Austin is probably my favorite from all Ginny's men so far. Just such a wild and fun passion you don't see everywhere. This was probably my favorite from the series because it is just so crazy and fun and unexpected. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Austin is wild lol! Such a vibrant personality and while he dated a lot, once he met Sabine that was it. He was absolutely smitten💛 I loved his care for her and how much he adored her🫠 they were perfect for each other. Loved the brotherhood of the firefighters and I really need Justin’s story after the way the book ended 😳!
This has been my favorite book in the Flirt's Battalion series. It wasn't smooth sailing in the beginning, but the story was just magical for me. Some moments were hysterical, the salad incident, and every time "bros with the hose" was done. I just love Ginny's books.
Yes!!! This story has all the energy Austin deserves! The over the top personality, rushing into every situation, obsessed with life and love. She was put off by his behavior, several times ,but somehow is drawn into his personality and overtly obsessed desire for her. So many fast choices! Great read!
I love firefighter stories. It tickles my granddaughter since she’s married to one. Austin falls hard, the problem is he’s already burned a few bridges with Sabine and he hasn’t even met her yet. This book is funny, romantic (I knew my husband less than a month when we married), entertaining and touching. I can’t wait for the next book.
This is one intense, funny and increditablely romantic. I just love it. The storyline was remarkable along with amazing and memorable characters that I found I like very much. Keep up the good work.
I really thought I wouldn't like Austin's story because he was such a heartless flirt. I was wrong. This series just gets better and better. I was very disappointed though when I realized I had to wait a month for Justin's story.
Austin's character made me laugh out loud so hard that my coworkers were looking at me funny. I loved his playful banter. And I loved that his playboy façade melted when he found Sabine. I loved the person she brought out in him. The fact that they took a chance on each other and kept showing, each day, that they chose each other made this book swoon worthy.
I really wish I could have given this a lot more stars than I did. This was probably my favorite book in the series so far, but there were just too many sexual innuendos for me. The innuendos showed his playboy attitude in the beginning and were used by the author to show how much he loved Sabine later, but I just didn't like how frequent they were and I think that the same feelings could have been conveyed in a different way. It did have a warning before hand, so I knew what I was getting myself into, though and I did appreciate that.
I wanted to like this book so much more but I couldn't. I don't mind insta love (depends on the mood I'm in) but this one took it to far. He asked to marry him after one meeting (where she slapped him) (and if it wasn't one meeting it was in the second one but it's the same point) by text message. And they married after what, a month, less? I didn't like it, there's limits for insta love and this one took it way too far. Austin was sweet and commited from the first moment, I'll give him that. Sabine was a good woman too that just needed someone to truly see her and she found that in Austin. One other thing, he's portuguese. Like I'm portuguese too and it's so rare to see portuguese people in books, I was beside myself. They talked about benfica, pastéis de nata, baba de camelo, leitão, Nazaré, GAHHHHHH, I was so happy. And I would put 4 stars just because of that but I couldn't because of the book as all
Such a fun, tender book in the series by Ginny Sterling. Love, love loved these characters! Austin is one of the firefighters in the “Flirt’s Battalion” who’s Portuguese and the biggest flirt of the group. He also hides behind all that joking and flirting to cover his insecurities. Sabine works in an auto mall in the service department and has no patience or interest in arrogant men. When they finally meet in person, he says something he doesn’t understand is offensive. Can they get past the misunderstanding and see the true person underneath? *Some crass but innocent humor. *I received this book as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.
What happens when a playboy serial dater meets the girl of his dreams? Can he convince her to give him a try? Will she give him the time of day and go on a date? Austin Olivera never thought he'd fall in love at first sight but when he saw Sabine, he did just that! Now he just has to convince HER that he's right for her! Austin was the sweetest guy and being Portuguese, he's a lover not a fighter! He knows how to romance a lady! But when he falls for Sabine, he is in it for life and will be faithful forever! He just has to prove to her that he will! This story was sweet and romantic! It had its humorous moments too!
When Sabine first encountered Austin, professional flirt/firefighter, she was less than impressed. When she met him face to face at a later date, again with the flirting, this time resulting in his face slapped. Can McCreepy actually become McAwesome? Sabrina and Austin soon discovered that they had other fires burning quickly but should they fight them or let them burn!?
Romance, sweet, contemporary; series but stand alone read Austin and Sabine’s story is a sweet, little bit crazy whirlwind that is Austin, fall. Two honest hearts, and Austin showed his true colors when he finally meets Sabine. Laser-like focus on her, loving and caring for her. Fun to see cameos from other guys in the station from previous books, see Austin’s family and their love for Sabine. Sweet HEA
Ginny Sterling brings her characters to life and makes the reader feel as if they are friends. If you're looking for entertaining characters, captivating storyline, a bit of drama along with sweet romance then, you will be thoroughly pleased with this book.
From the beginning this had me. Never a dull moment with Austin. Love the way he fell,so quickly
in love... What an amazing love story. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and I fell in love as quickly. Your books are truly pur entertainment!!
To be honest, based on previous books, I had no interest in Austin. He was creepy. However, we get to know the real Austin along with Sabine. This is the sweetest story by far. Don't be afraid to meet the real Austin.
I absolutely loved this book!! It was hilarious, fun-loving, and earned a laughing eye roll (or two). Ms. Sterling wrote this book with such flavor, laughter, and even a tough moment or two --I give Courageous Moments 5 out of 5 stars!!
The characters were adorable and funny. They definitely had a lot of fun, love and passion is their whirlwind relationship. On the steamier side of things.
These books are just so sweet. Instaloves is a guilty pleasure of mine, and this was a fun one! Loved the honeymoon part and meeting the family! Great little book.
Ginny Sterling continues to wow me with her fun stories and wild characters. I absolutely loved Austin. He was over-the-top and so many ways but also such a sweetheart. I really loved that he was a Portuguese descent and that a lot of that culture is included in the story. As I’ve said, in other reviews, one of the things I really like is when a book introduces me to a culture that is unfamiliar to me. And this was definitely one of those times.
Best if read in order as characters are Interconnected throughout the series and storyline flows throughout. What happens when the biggest flirt on the team falls instantly for a woman who is not impressed? How does Austin win her over? When things go down at her job will they get justice? I received a copy of this book from the author. Review voluntarily given.
