When Malachai approaches her, not only does she begin to see her purpose, but now she her faith only builds stronger. But will it be enough to fight off the Shadows? Who is the one bringing this plague to the woods? And what if it gets out to the public? This is the perfect mix of mystery and suspense with a touch of romance. Candle Sutton works her magic spinning a fantastic installment to the Shadows, keeping me on the edge and wanting to know who is finally going to take them down! It's nerve racking and exciting all at the same time. I cannot wait to sink into Deadly Shadow next!
Brittany Goodwin continues her narration of this fabulous series. Her voices are these people, and she know how to bring them alive and make me care about them. It's draws me into the story and keeps me invested til the end. It's a fabulous listen and a series that should be listened to!

Absolutely wonderful! Exciting, thrilling, addictive! Charae as a wildlife officer. She is about to encounter Malachi, and the shadows. Her life will not be the same. Someone she is close to will betray her in a way that is totally unexpected. As she is trying to determine what, and who, is killing so many animals, the situation becomes worse. with every passing day, she is learning more about herself, her faith, and how they work together. Candle does a wonderful job of blending in scripture, Christian principles and values, and keeping every reader addicted to the story. The fourth book will be out in January 2024. This is a must read series. it has excitement, betrayal, every day life, and most of all it will bring you closer to God! from the beginning of the first book of the series, you will be engaged in the battle between good and evil. The battle rage is on!

Great read for any age!
I love the series! I have read the The Shadows Series to preview it for my adolescent children. I find the characters well developed, with realistic internal thoughts and struggles. It is devoid of foul language and the sexualized normalcy prevalent in our culture, yet real, exciting, and deep.

An incredible series.
I am really loving this series with one more to go. It's really a Christian thrilled and faith based throughout each book. I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed.

A mystery thriller with Bible quotes, Christian themes, principals, prayers etc.
Each main chapter is given a special gift by the Lord in each new book in the series.
