I liked the premise, yet I wanted a deeper insight of the culprit.
All parts are interconnected and they end with a slight cliffhanger (regarding the relationships among the characters in the story).

I groan every time I finish an Emilia Finn novel.
Not because the book is awful. It’s because it’s so d*** good. And I hate that it’s over. And I’m impatient for the next one. I tell myself I’m going to wait and read it closer to the next release. And every single time, I read it before it’s been out for 24 hours. Anyway another spectacular visit to Copeland. And a visit with my favorite super spy. Emilia thank you for again writing their stories, and sharing them with us. I love them more every book. And I grin like a fool at little Mia’s antics.

Wow. I have been speechless since reading this book. The highly anticipated return to Copeland did not disappoint! We are immediately thrust into a new murder investigation which looks suspiciously like a Malone orchestrated event. When I say this book was full of massive twists and turns, I mean shocking twists. This may be the the most unexpected of the series.
Emilia’s ability to weave such intricate suspenseful stories is truly a gift. Each book just keeps getting better and better. We got some reconciliation and closure in this installment too which is much needed after the tension between Fletch and the others. We also see another side to Daddy Mayor which promises to make things interesting in the future. Has Tim even come around? And now that Cato has shown up things are going to get very entertaining. I love this crew and I love this world.

Great, twisty, unexpected and I'm smiling!
I have already preordered the next in series. I have purchased the entire series (very rare, people). This sinful book is completely different from the last 8! How does she do that? You know what, I don't care. There's always suspense, mystery and a touch of Smiles Finns magic!!! Enough said. Read it...

phenomenal
I don’t know how Emilia Finn keeps doing it but every book is pure gold! Archer and Minka’s newest chapter is absolute pleasure with guest appearances and assists from the most unusual places. As usual Emilia keeps us hanging on on every page with her who-done-it takes while simultaneously having us fall deeper in love with Arch, Minka, and the Copeland crew!

I adore the sinful series ! The way everything is planned out and the homosides are just written to a perfect T.. the roller town cross overs.. thank god Sophia never changes.. just amazing ! This story had me gripped so much I had to find out who done it! I had too! Knew one of them would know about the multiple identities!!

Twists on twists!
I love all the characters in this series, from Minka and Archer, to Mia and Ms. Penny, even the Mayor, the extended Malones, and the random drop-ins from Roller Town. But what I truly love is the phenomenal storytelling. The twists that leave me guessing all the way through until the story is nearly over! I love when I don't see the who-dunnit in a mystery, the kink in the armor that makes the main characters stop snarking for a minute.
This one... I had no idea. None. There was not one reveal where I went "I knew it!" before the story was over. I know in the first 15 minutes of most shows and had no clue in this book.

Mayet is back!
Witty dialog, loveable damaged characters, a new twisted case… Mayet Justice is back and as much fun as ever! This is book 9 in the Mayet Justice series and I still can’t get enough. Picking up shortly after the events in book 8, Minka is slowly (too slow for her) healing, while trying to keep tabs on her honorary niece’s homelife, keep her husband happy, and attempting to do her usual crazy job. While the case unfurls, we learn more about character back stories, hear from a familiar ballerina, and gain insight into Minka’s motivation.

Absolutely mindcatching
Don't start reading if you have plans or stuff to do! Emilia, as always, brings the characters to life and makes you feel like you're living a second (or third, fourth, fifth, even) life through them. Definitely not something that's easy to put down and walk away from, because you just NEED to know what happens next. I'm usually not a fan of series with the same main couple, but I'll be darned if Arch and Miiiiinka haven't formed a formiddable hold on part of my heart.

Together. Touching. Forever. Nine books into this series and it just keeps getting better. I’m not even sure how that’s possible, but these doctors, detectives and their friends and family are so well developed and amazing that they really do feel like real people to me at this point. This book can absolutely be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone. But the whole series is like watching your favorite crime show. 🖤

Another Banger
She has added another layer to Copeland! Minka and Archer are the best couple…their love and how they describe it is yummy. This entire cast is amazing. I loved this story and the way it turned out!
Lots of things and story lines are developing. This series is better than any show on TV that you sit around and wait for each weekly episode.

They just keep getting better and better
I absolutely love this series. I was happy to hear that Sophia is still the bad a$$ that she always was and I adore Minka and Archer's love story. But for the love of all thats holy Tim needs to make a move... and I am falling in love with Felix and Cato alittle more each book. As always I can't wait for the next one. You are a rock star Emilia!!

Fantasy is Fantastic.
Another page turner in the Mayet Justice series. Emilia kept the suspense intriguing with every new person arriving to claim the victim. Our favorite Copeland residents make appearances, including the mayor. We also get some crossover with one of our favorite RollerTown geniuses. This has become one of my all time favorite series, as it combines mystery and intrigue with romance and spice.

it’s the little things
Minka seems to be out of commission on the crime fighting front, because of her injury. I also see that her running of the George Stanley building is really cool. I am hoping she allows the mayor to get closer. I would like her to have a father figure especially someone to look after her in the higher up stage politically. The guys got their jobs back but I think the Captain is going to be a problem.

5 Star Perfection ⭐️
We are back in Copeland and I have missed this crew so much! The banter, the mystery, the love and friendship! We get it all in this book and this series. Archer and Minka’s love just keeps growing stronger and makes me so happy. And the ending, I can not wait for the next one! Another amazing book by Emilia! If you haven’t started this series, do it now!

Unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed and disappointed with this book. I was hoping for more drama with the Malpnes, Minka and maybe abit more with Tim and Aubs and Fletch and Fifi but it was all about solving that murder and nothing else really. Hopefully the next one will be better as Cato has turned up!

I love Minka & Archer!
I’m still loving these books. It’s #9 in the series, so if you’re reading this review, like me, you’ve read the other 8 and aren’t looking for a summary. I love that we keep getting glimpses into Charlie/Fifi and Aubree/Tim. Soph making an appearance just makes me sooooo happy! I’m still a wee bit obsessed with Ms. Finn!

Great case of “who did it?”
Intriguing and full of clues that spin and spin, this is another great book in the Copeland world. I was stumped all the way to the end. Archer and Minka keep growing on you with each book, and the family they share holds you so tight you feel like part of the family.

Love this series
OK, I stumbled across this series… I had never read anything by this author and I am obsessed. I literally can’t wait to catch up to the most recent book so I can go read all of her other series too. It’s so good, The found Family in the banter in this book is better than any I’ve ever read. I am a new fan, but I am a huge fan. So exciting.

Another great one!
I love Minka and Archer so much! The support characters are awesome as well. This one had a whopper of a case that I could not figure out! Kept me guessing and I loved it. Can't wait to see what Minka, Archer, and the gang get up to in the next book!

Another great book.
I never can decide if I want to slowly read Mayet's story or read it quickly. This time the book was so good I read it fast.
The characters are really well developed but you learn something new with every chapter.
I can't wait for the next one.

Wow
What a ride! From beginning to end this book has you hooked. The storyline flows smoothly and the suspense keeps you turning pages. Honestly, I could not stop reading until the last page. Love this series and all the characters. Can't wait for the next adventure!!

Couldn't figure out who done it till the end!

Maybe the best Mayet book yet!
The case is so twisty and turn-y that I didn’t until after Archer and Fletch were confronting the killer. I love all the characters and it’s always bittersweet when I finish the book.

I loved the book and Emilia Finn you never disappoint. Intriguing, interesting and keeping you guessing. I loved it. My heart breaks for Fletcher and Mia moo. I love daddy mayor Lawrence protective. The chief has to go. Thanks for a great read can’t wait for the next.

I can not get enough of Chief Mayet! Author Emilia Finn makes me hang onto ever word not wanting to put the book down! I love this series!! Do yourself a favor and start from book 1 and enjoy this ride!!!
