I enjoyed the twists and turns but I did not enjoy the way meghan decided to just go back to mick after what he did. I also didnt really enjoy how her and jason reunited. It was quick and she got over it really fast. Overall it was a little more then okay.

I loved the cover of this book, just like the last one! Loads of colored wires or string maybe streaking back and forth across a black background. I think I have an idea of what it symbolizes, but I cannot tell you because it would give too much away about the book.

I liked the third book in the Afterlife series by T.P. Boje. Some of the questions that Meghan had in the first two books have been answered, but more questions come up that will need to be addressed. In this book Meghan becomes one of the strongest members in her class, and in the Academy's history. She learns some new skills and becomes the master of some of them. At the end of the second book, Serenity, Meghan has decided to pledge her love to Mick and give up any chance at a future with Jason on earth. In Endurance, she is looking forward to her wedding to Mick and also to the end of her training at the Academy. She finally gets to find out how she died and realizes that people are not always what they seem to be on the surface.

One of the issues I had with this book was again in the relationship between Mick and Meghan. To me, Mick seemed like more of a controlling boyfriend than the perfect match for a strong-minded girl like Meghan. Maybe it is because he is from a different time period when men were more controlling and that was acceptable and maybe he was just really trying to help Meghan because she had a lot going on and he didn't want to add to her workload at school or her stress. Meghan questions his behavior and rebels against it. She doesn't like to be controlled and she lets him know it. Their relationship gets pretty rocky and there is one part that I really don't like how it played out. I was disappointed in both of these characters and wasn't happy about their choices. If you want to know what I'm talking about, you'll have to pick up a copy because I don't want to ruin it for you. If you have read it already, and you know what I'm referring to, please let me know if you feel the same way or differently. I'd love to hear others opinions on this.

I hope there will be more in this series because I have enjoyed getting to know Meghan and her friends, Mick, Jason, and the teachers at the Academy. I am interested in finding out more about Meghan's past and also reading about what might be in store for her future.

Endurance is the third book in the Afterlife series about a young girl’s life after death. This is definitely not my normal kind of book. The series is fantasy and that is Fantasy with a capital F. This 3rd book was even more weird and strange and out there than the first 2. Despite that I have actually enjoyed them and I have just discovered there is actually a 4th book in the series which I am now going to have to find as the ending to book 3 leaves a bit of a cliff hanger. When Meghan graduates she gets her file which should detail every moment of her life on earth but there are pages missing.......... I need the 4th book to find out why and what actually happened to her.

"Romance In Paradise"

In this third novel of experiencing life in the Afterlife, Megan, Mick, and Jason are still the main characters. Here Megan's training at the Academy is coming to an end. Also, there may be a marriage for Megan unless something interferes with that plan. She may also have difficulty facing the truth of her own death. As always, this is a fast moving story for Young Adults and also anyone interested in what happens in the spiritual realm. One more book to go in this series. Read this ... it's full of hope.

BOOOO. This shit was wack.. First of all yes super cool that she's a literal bad ass. And super sad she was murdered and the whole scene with her killer which was her assignment.. Anyways MICK FUCKING RAPED HER and got her pregnant and she just ran back to him and forgave him.. Im overly fucking disgusted with the way he acted the entire fucking book.. NEVER AGAIN.. He desperately needs to go.. Any ways cool that she traveled back in time and I hope she finds out about her missing past.

I love the author's take on life in the Afterlife, but she's losing me on the "pregnancy" issue.

MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO

I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this one was much better. The storyline had more action and direction, in my opinion.

This is a YA series of 4 books: Beyond, Serenity, Endurance, and Courageous. With that in mind, I'll say I really enjoyed them and found the subject matter and story progression original and very well written. Unfortunately, there were massive editing problems on the Kindle Unlimited copies I read, and that detracted from the read.

I have an interest in the afterlife from a very loosely-based Christian context and would think writing about would be pretty difficult. The story did not seem forced or unnatural and I really enjoyed that aspect.

After finishing all four books, I wanted to read more from this author, but I really don't care for horror.

ARGHHHHH! With each book in this series my frustration has grew.

What does this book promote.. Mick basically raped her, she just stood there and let it happen... ARGHHH :@ Not only that but she still blushes and that when she around him and forgives him... I mean seriously WTF!

If Meghan has no respect for her-self, then I have no respect for her..

This book promotes forgiveness in the worse way possible.... Mick should be thrown to perdition for his actions, but nope he in heaven he tries to force a girl into marriage, rapes her, gets her pregnant..

Then she see's Jason in heaven and realizes she loves him truly but decides to marriage Mick because she got impregnated when she was basically raped. Promotion of abuse and broken marriages of what.

I admit in Rosey case I don't know what choice I would have made.. I would of wanted to throw her to hell for killing me, but i would have wanted to save her for her husband and child sake (not for Rosey personally.)

In this book, the angels are manipulative jerks... Hell the idea of Azazel becoming more and more appealing. True he is 'evil' but at least you know what you getting and he is mostly honest about it..

I really must be glutton for punishment... I want to find out why some of her memories where missing..... AHHHH STUPID CURIOUS NATURE I HAVE AND THE NEED TO KNOW... Cries...

These books are definitely getting worse as I go along.

So I just finished the third book. I am so glad this particular book is done and I'm only sad there's still one more to go. I'll have to mooch off my husbands amazon prime account because I'm definitely not paying for the fourth book. I have a feeling I will end up skimming through it just to be done. At this point, I feel like I have to finish the series and see how this train wreck ends since there's only one more book.

So back to the awful third book....

I can't believe Meghan is with Mick when she doesn't even like him...or does she? She is one confused spirit. At first, I was waiting for her to be reunited with Jason (which was so unbelievably uneventful), but now I don't even care. Which is a problem. I'm bored. I'd rather hear more about why this other girl dumped Mick at the alter 50 years ago. I mean, aside from the fact that he's an obvious creepo. I'd rather hear about anything else. In fact, I'd rather just be reading anything else.

Warning: Spoiler Below!!!

The fact that Meagan's big project was her killer, whom she ultimately forgave, was frustrating.

And now, she's pregnant because Mick forces himself on her and she doesn't stop it. She could have said no. How can a spirit become pregnant anyway? Bleh.

Mick is so annoying, but then again, so is she, so maybe they do belong together?

Oh my god.
The premice of the series was good, I liked it, but the more I was reading, the more I was thinking "why am I doing this to myself?".

This book was the worst of all. I kind of wanted this series to be like Harry Potter and learn stuff about the afterlife. Instead I learned that afterlife is basically like life. The whole book is about "but should I really be with this guy even though I might also like that other guy". People are in this situation all the time. It was BORING. I didn't want it to be a boring love story, I wanted it to be a cool spirit story.

I lost all interest when I found out Meghan was pregnant. As a spirit. Seriously???? Spirits get pregnant? In book one, we learned that they couldn't dress up or wear makeup, but they can get pregnant. I'm severely tokophobic so maybe that it is why this is pissing me off, but I just can't wrap my head around it. The angels keep telling Meghan that she is so earthly in her way of thinking, but her life is freaking earthly as well!!

Oh and I can't stand Mick. He's awful, and so possessive. Jason is a little better but I can't stand the drama.

And if I want to learn about Meghan 's life I have to read yet another book??? Are you kidding me???

More original ideas & the added twists and turns made this book so much more enjoyable than the previous two in the series. Mick is a sorry excuse for a boyfriend, and I found Meghan's inability to stand up for herself to be irritating at times. She let him possess her, let him be freakishly domineering and then felt guilty when she did stand up to her. I wish she had stood up to him that bit more. Now I need to finish it.....got me hooked, glad I endured with it!! hehe

I thought I'd give Afterlife another chance, unfortunately, this one is still too focused on the angst of love in heaven. Kind of thought that drama would be over then.
