Willow Cross resides in Arkansas with her husband, two children still young enough to live at home, an enormous cat named Bitsy, and a scaredy-cat dog named Tank. Her home has been known to host the occasional ghost, and a few of her friends profess to be witches. Although she dearly loves Vampires and Werewolves, they are never invited for dinner.
This is a free novella on Amazon. Great free holiday novella.

One of the best Christmas Season novels I have listened to.
5 out of 5*.....This book is amazing! I loved it. Christmas Miracle is the way Christmas, in my opinion, is to be celebrated!! Kind hearted people willing to give to the needy, helping with utilities and presents for children......Just amazing! A beautiful story about love and struggles through life! A way to remind us that there are people like Mercy, who desperately need help!!! Great story and a MUST READ!!
This short story about a single mom with four children, is boundto bring back the faith we've all lost.
While living at her childhood farm house with her children, Mercedith, tries her hardest to make ends meet. Her prayers don't go unheard, though, and every one of them is carrefully and neatly resolved.
Mercedith Owens is divorced and trying to raise her family on her meager income. Being a woman that wants to successfully do it on her own she doesn’t really want to ask for help but she learns that sometimes for God to work you have to ask for the miracle. I could really identify with Mercedith as I was a single mother. I had five boys to raise and it wasn’t always easy. I loved how the character of Mercedith learns that life can be about receiving a gift as much as giving one, especially when you aren’t expecting it to happen. She is willing to repay what she receives and the door opens to give her the help she needs so desperately. I recommend this to anyone that has been , knows or may be a single mother. Miracles do happen, especially when you least expect it.

Summary: A short inspirational story about a single mother and a very special Christmas.
The Review I just loved this short story from Willow, It was beautifully written, truly heartfelt, Very inspirational, It brought a tear to my eye, I read this during late Summer, you don’t need to be in mid winter to read this, Mercy is a mother of 4 children who’s husband had left her for another woman, she is struggling to make ends meat, but with the belief of believing in someone or something, it works out in her favour, Thankfully, I am so glad things worked out for Mercy, 5/5
A Christmas Miracle is a very short (too short, I could have kept reading so very easily), tender uplifting read. The gentle storyline focuses on the goodness that still exists in the world, and the hope and joy that it brings with it. Whilst a very short read, this narrative is most certainly worthy of 5 stars. The craft alone teamed with the lovely level of detail and description, plus the fine tuned characterisation, successfully captured and sustained my interest and left we with a positive warm fuzzy glow. If your spirit needs uplifting this festive season, then A Christmas Miracle is a good place to start.
I was given a copy by the author in exchange for my honest review.

This short story is one that most of us can relate to. It will bring tears to your eyes. A great Christmas story that can be read anytime you need a little reassurance. Miracles really do happen!

This short tale is poignant and beautiful. It is one about the true meaning of Christmas, of a mother's love and sacrifice and the generosity, so small to many but cherished by those that have little. I don't like to leave spoilers in my reviews but I will say this - if you want to read a quick tale that pulls on your heart-strings and leaves you feeling good after your eyes misted up moments earlier... read this!!!

Absolutely loved this! With everything going on in the world today this is the book that gives you hope all year round. Every family struggles and right here proves that there are still good people out there that care and are willing to help, never give up hope.
This is a wonderful story about Mercedith & her 4 children. Times are tough for this single mother. Cold weather & Christmas with no money for heat or gifts. Mercedith prays for help to be able to do what needs done. See if prayers are answered for this family.
A Christmas Miracle is such a great little read, that will warm your heart. For only being 16 pages, this book packs a big punch & I would recommend this book any time of the year.
A short book, too short, in my opinion. Some of the struggle, characters and background development might have made this into a nice warm Christmas read. It left me wanting more. Still, it is an enjoyable story and pulls at the heart strings. If you like sweet Christmas tales during the season, you will enjoy it.
What a lovely little Christmas story. Sometimes GOD does answer your prayers. There should be no shame in asking for help. Struggling mother, Mercy, puts off asking for help and she receives more than she imaged was possible.
I'm hoping we get another story, one in which Mercy pays forward the kindness and generosity she was shown.
I really enjoyed this story—-thank you to the author for offering it free on Amazon (with no requirement of a good review). Got me in the christmas spirit with open eyes to look for those who need help….
Nice story. It showed the struggles some have at Christmas . Also the kindness of others. God does answer prayers through others. Keep listening we all can be someone's answered prayer and be grateful for the enoughs.
This is a wonderful short story about a newly divorced mother with 4 children who is struggling to care for her family and keep her dream alive. Her perseverance is inspiring. Meredith prays for help to be able to do what she needs to do, and the way her prayer is answered is awesome.
MY REVIEW I can't remember if I downloaded this when I was free or if it was 77p....Any way here is my honest review and opinion. The cover is okay, but being totally honest wouldn't make me want to pick it up from a shelf for example. After reading the book/novella, the cover could be so much better, and compliment and market the book more than it does at the moment. I think a representation of the house with the trees etc around it would have been better. As the book has a Christmassy theme, it could have been a mantlepiece with empty stocking hung up on it. The actual plot is really really good. One that I am sure people are going through today. As a single mum myself I understand how every penny is accounted for. I also am well aware of the fact you certainly cannot rely on the ex to pay anything at all let alone a pre-agreed amount on a regular basis. So yes the plot is really relevant in this day and age. You feel really sorry for the single mum in this story, she is trying her hardest to make the money stretch, and Christmas puts on even more pressure on the money situation. Like every mum you feel the pressure even more at Christmas to provide gifts. I also totally understand the way this poor mum goes to try and claim benefits. I totally knew how she sat there feeling embarrassed and as if she is asking for something she isn't entitled to, as if she's being greedy and as if she doesn't need the extra help. I do love the ending, I have to admit to teary eyes and a sniffle or two at the ending. The ending gives "hope". Hope for better things and better times. So though you feel sad for and with the single mum, the ending is somewhat up lifting. So did I enjoy the novella? Yes, Would I recommend reading this novella? Yes it will give different feeling to different people? It could make you feel humbled, grateful for what you do have, make you feel a kinship with the single mom in the novella. And best of all make you feel hope, love and the magic of Christmas. Would I read more by Willow Cross? Yes I have read much by this author and am a definite fan and am looking forward to reading much more by Willow Cross in the future.
I am really not into Christmas but this quick read is wonderful. I don't know why I didn't read it sooner other than it was buried with all the other books on my kindle. I do however wish it was a bit longer but nothing wrong with a quick story.
Mercy is a single mother of four wonderful children after their father left to be with another woman. Mercy is hardworking but struggles to make ends meet but she continues to believe that a miracle will happen, she just hopes its soon. Will a miracle happen for this mom and her children before Christmas so she can spend it with them without having to worry about everything? Inspirational short story that will warm your heart throughout the year.
Mercedith loved her children, she could not pay her bills, car troubles, and a dead beat dad for an ex husband.
Her kids will not get nothing for christmas.
This is a story about women and children all around the world that work hard everyday, trying to make end meet, only to cry thenselves to sleep at night, because they can't pay the bills.
Read this little story we can all use a miacle once in a while.
