This book is the first in a series of books about a boy named Wiglaf and his quest to become a hero. Wiglaf is faced with a plethora of new challenges upon entering Dragon Slayer Academy. He doesn't feel so confident in the beginning of his journey because of his tendency to become sick with the sight of blood, however he is able to make new friends and go on adventures despite his original feelings of insecurity. This book reminds me of the Harry Potter series, just more condensed. I think this would be a fun book to have in the classroom to read during downtime or even just to have on your bookshelf. I found that I really enjoyed reading it, and I feel like this would be a book that would appeal to a lot of students.

Cute stories, very quick read (about 10 minutes or less each). It happened to fall onto my bookshelf, so I went ahead and read it. Strangely adult for a kids book.
