Have you ever read a book that you had to read every single word and makes you feel the excitement, giddiness, anxiousness, and love that you know the author put into each word and his characters. That is what I felt the entire time I was reading this book. You have a great storyline with all the twists and turns you expect when reading a Lucian Bane book, you know it is not going to be like any other book you have read. It seems that almost every time I finish one of his new books, it is my new favorite book by him and this one is, and I can't wait for the next one. He has created heroes that you love and want to yell at on occasion, and heroines that are strong and have had to deal with tragedy and yet still have an innocence and sometimes naivete and they will stand up for themselves and for what is good and right and they are fighters. This book and I know the entire series will be one of a kind. I love the brotherhood and sisterhood created and the connections between the couples.

Where to even begin!!!
I was in awe the whole time reading. These characters have you falling in love with them, wanting to scream at them, and then crawl in the book and give them a hug. This is nothing less than I have come to expect from Lucian W Bane. With twist turns, having to turn back a few pages asking, "Did that really just happen?" And, of course, sitting on pins and needles for the next book.
I am excited to see how this is going to unfold for these characters.
Especially Little Human & Me Soldier ❤️ Fell in love with that.
Worried for Kult and Pain.
Sad but excited for Harlow.
And, intrigued by Fetch, Fathom & Fin.
I feel something big in the works for the next book.

Okay so you know them authors that you don’t even have to read the blurb to know you’ll be picking up the book.. yeah one of those, that is lucian bane for me. And here’s why; he writes like no one else I have ever read before, he takes a genre and makes it his own, adding twists that you just wouldn’t expect and you can feel the passion coming off the pages. This book was no different.

This book is the first in the Quantum Kings series, it’s a crossover from his RBMC series butterfly. You don’t have to read them to find your way in this book but i honestly would recommend them cause well they were fantastic too.

So anyways let’s talk about this book and some of what to expect.

Legend is the first of his, a sentient artificial being designed to protect. The only problem is the woman who first activated his evolution abilities could never truly be his and his alone.. the link between them is now broken and he finds himself desperate for that connection again with another. Though because of what happened between him and his first link he becomes enraged and unsettled.

Along comes Isla a strong woman, who is a nun and works as a nurse. She has no idea what she has signed up for but she won’t take it laying down, she will fight for the rest of her sisters and help them to get the freedom she has been given. It didn’t seem like that to her in the beginning but she can’t deny the instant attraction she has to Legend.

Rowan my goodness this woman is sass on a stick, she is my wee firecracker and I love how lucian represents her.
She is in for one hell of a ride with Fetch but she is buckling herself in and will ride that rollercoaster!

Fetch who I can’t wait to see more of, is a walking, talking trigger warning and I am here for it. He is sadistic and thrives from pain but some how you can’t help but find him funny in his own twisted way too..

I love the sisterhood between the women and the undeniable strong brotherhood.

Okay greedy reads that’s all you’re getting, I will leave you with this nothing will be what you expect, twists at every turn and man will you be sitting on the edge of your seat. Oh and let’s not forget the steam 🔥

What a way to start this series. It is absolutely mind blowing what this author has done in creating these characters and this wild ride of a story and this is just the first one. There is a desperate need to find the perfect Sister for each of Quantum’s soldiers so that they can complete the link but there are many secrets that need to be uncovered as well. We are launched into a different world and when you add in the other brothers and their wives anything can happen. You will not be able to stop reading once you start.

Ever since I saw the a-ma-zing covers 🥰😍 for the Quantum Kings series on FB, I was looking forward to this series. (Yep, I'm a person who selects books also because of the covers 🤪 lol!) So when I saw ARCs being offered via BookSprout, I signed up and downloaded the book.





First book of a new series. At least... I thought so. On the cover is mentioned that Quantum Kings is 'a Royal Bastards MC crossover', however... I have not read those books.


While reading Quantum Kings, the only thing I felt was confusion; I had a feeling I really missed a lot of vital information about the characters. With all the references to the characters from the Royal Bastards series (I recognized their names, because of the book titles!) a lot of things made no sense. I was so confused!! 😧 Plus the Quantum Kings series is tagged SciFi??
Anyway... that's why I quit/DNF and I decided it's best for me to first read the Royal Bastards and then start the Quantum Kings, because now nothing made much sense! 😔 And that can never be the intention of the author?! 😁

Lucian Bane's introduction into his new Royal Bastards MC cross-over series Quantum Kings is mind-blowing. The 1st book in the series of the same name Quantum Kings is unlike anything he prepared you for in his Royal Bastards MC: Newark, NJ chapter series. And everything you thought you knew about A.I.'s just forget it. While learning about what this series would be I thought it would be one thing but man was I wrong and I'm glad it was nothing like what was in my head because it's so much BETTER! For Lucian to be able to come up with these characters and these stories it makes me wonder what a day in his head is like because I would never even think of the things I'm reading in this book or others of his for that matter. I can't even decide if this book should be categorized as a sci-fi thriller or a sci-fi BDSM there are so many reasons that it's both.
We met Legend Boxley the King of Quantum Kings in the RBMC series. He is Harlow's greatest creation the mad scientist that he is. Quantum is the 1st of his kind built to protect the innocent at all costs. No one prepared for what would happen when he linked with a woman. Or what would happen when that would was taken away by his brother. Behind everyone's backs, he was making plans to build an army of A.I.s like himself because he realized there were too many innocents in the world that he was not enough to protect them all. He even became the 2nd richest person in the world and bought and remodeled a castle without anyone knowing. Of course telling Harlow when it was time to because he was ready to build his 1st 3 soldiers, which he got from Kult's head. That's when you officially meet Fetch, Fathom, and Fin. Quantum realized through his link with Butterfly that he needed his soldiers to be connected to a woman so they would each have to marry the right type of woman that he found at a convent. He didn't know at the time or maybe he did but he was saving these sisters from their own horrors when he did this. Of course, Q found his wife in Isla who was the leader of the sisters so to speak. And her sister Rowan who first came with her was to be the 1st soldier's wife which is Fetch. That didn't go very well at first until Kult showed up with the whole family even Levi and Becky and had a talk with him. Hearing Rowan's story even just the small part we have was heartbreaking. How that girl survived what she did is beyond me and tells me she can for sure survive Fetch's sick obsessions. Harlow also met a sister that interested him but Harlow being Harlow played his sick games with her and when the book left off he was in a bad place. I'm guessing that is where the 2nd book will pick up.
I gave this book a 5-star rating and a 5-spicy rating. It was just off the charts steamy and domineering just like I like. And in Lucian fashion, it told multiple storylines at once and left you asking more questions than you started with. I can't wait til the next book Fetch comes out so I can read what happens. Right now I'm left wondering are they really soldier A.I.s meant to protect or sexbot A.I.s meant to bring pleasure??

QUANTUM KINGS is the first instalment in Lucian Bane’s contemporary, adult QUANTUM KINGS dark, erotic, sci-fi romance series-a spin off from / cross over with the author’s RBMC Newark series which focuses on Butterfly and the five men with whom she fell in love. This is Quantum aka Legend Solomon Boxley and Isla, Harlow and Lucy, Rowan and Fetch’s introductory story line. QUANTUM KINGS should not be read as a stand alone for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the ENTIRE RBMC Newark series wherein the story of the creation of the ultimate super soldier begins.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

SOME BACKGROUND: An experiment to create the ultimate super soldier resulted in the merging of six criminal minds and souls into one body, a body that shared six desires, six thoughts, six personalities and six evils, often at the same time. When the time came to reunite with their bodies, some but not all would unite with a form of artificial intelligence, become a sentient cyborg that is forever evolving yet remaining a family with the other. Quantum and Harlow were part of the original six brothers, whose task it is now to continue to create more super soldiers by matching said soldier with a woman who is able to control the beast within.

Told from several omniscient third person perspectives QUANTUM KINGS follows after the events of book five BUTTERFLY AND KULT, wherein Butterfly has chosen her mate, and the remaining ‘brothers’ must consider their fates as they embark on lives of their own. Quantum Kings: A Royal Bastards MC Crossover by Lucian Bane is a sci-fi romance series, a cross over with the RBMC Newark Series about the creation of super soldiers to temper the darkness within them they need to find mates who can control their beasts. Quantum aka Legend Solomon is the first artificial being of his kind who was designed to protect the one woman to activate his evolution abilities but the link was broken when Butterfly chose her mate which has left Quantum angry and jealous. Now with his sexual cravings out of control, he needs to find a mate soon before he becomes a threat. Quantum is creating more solders who will be linked to him for life as well as finding a suitable match to control their desires. This story is full of darkness, power and control, science, experiments, madness and romance that is intense and hostile as these kings will serve and protect as well as deliver atrocities to others. Love the interaction between Quantum and his brother and creator Harlow as well as being introduced to triplet cyborgs (Fetch, Fathom and Fin) that Quantum spawned as his first sons. Quantum has contacted a convent which will bring nuns into this storyline to be mates for him and the others which finds Quantum finding his mate in sister Isla. The sisterhood between these women is a strong one as they show they are a match for these men with their sass and determination. This is one story that you need to take your time reading in order to get a better understanding of what the author is trying to relay. The storyline and characters are dark, gritty and complex and the romance is intense, steamy and aggressive. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

I am usually all for Mr. Bane and his bad boy MC that can light not only my Kindle aflame, but my panties. Unfortunately for me, I can't give my usual 'Yes, yes, yes!" with this one.

While it says it's a seperate from the Royal B@stards series, I found that it was more a continuation of the main plot and movingly on top the next sets of characters. It has been so long since I read any of the RB books (and I don't think I read them all honestly), that I found myself more than a little confused about the backstory - Butterfly, Pain, Fury, Fathom, Augustine, Mary, Harlow. The list of characters goes on. These weren't even the main characters of this book, but there were so many POVs fighting to be heard from past storyline with own snippets in this story . . . It was just overwhelming.

I lost Q and Isla's story along way. Or was the book even about them. Hell, it could have been about Rowan and Fathom (or was his name Fetch? . . . Fin?!? 🤔). Was it really a story about Harlow finding his girl?

Aaaarrghh!!!🥴😵😵‍💫🤯

These were only a few of the different storylines going on in this book. See way too much threads and different POVs to get a clear picture of with just this book. I am definitely going to need to go back and read the RB series to even try and untangle some of what I just read. This is not a book or a series I would recommend reading as a standalone unless you have read the RB series (or like that confused feeling in your life - more power to you ✊️).

Quantum Kings….oh to be part of this “Royal Family”

Lucian Bane has done it again. Took a golden nugget from his Royal Bastards MC series and ran with it in this new series.
Quantum aka Legend Boxley, is trying to piece his AI life back together after the revelation that occurred in Butterfly and Kult. With his directive still intact…he changes course and decides to go full force.
Then he meets his true match in Sister Isla. And wooooooo boy, the chemistry is off the charts. Both with their own agendas that will bring them together in unexpected ways.

What I loved most about this book was the continued growth of Quantum’s humanity. His relationship with his creator and brother Harlow, is highly entertaining & heartwarming.

Though I highly recommend reading the series this is a crossover from, you can still get the gist with the way Mr. Bane wrote little recaps throughout, and of course there are visits from his other family. Plus there are lots of new characters to meet.
***side note. There was a moment that occurred that was the most erotic, heartbreaking, soul confirming moment I have ever read. And it was in an amazing shower. It was just RAW all over. Thank you for that Mr. Bane

What if an artificial intelligence could fall in love like a human and feel different emotions and sensations like one? "Quantum Kings" is an awe-inspiring novel that tells about it, plus much more.

After meeting Butterfly, Quantum noticed some changes in his body. Amid the situation, he was confused and unsure of what was happening. Thus, he looked for Harlow's help to understand this crazy emotion that took over him.

According to Harlow, this feeling was new to him, and the best way to overcome it'd be to look for another connection. In truth, Quantum had other plans which involved women and his army. He'd get to control himself to don't affect his defense directive. After all, he was the Quantum King and wasn't a problem getting any woman.

An exceptional mix of creativity, daring, and brilliance, this book will captivate the reader from the first page to the last. After reading its pages, I found myself completely speechless. Its intricate world drew me deeper and deeper. This caused my mind to recall "Edward Scissorhands" and "The Bicentennial Man" as I read on.

What a way to start a new series. Even if you haven't read Lucian Bane's "Royal Bastards MC, Newark, NJ" series to see where all this began, you can immediately start this new series without missing a beat as it is a crossover. Of course, you won't have all the deliciousness that came from the previous series or all the exciting nuances that Mr. Bane tends to bring to his books. Once again, these characters were growing and developing as I read. Characters, who by definition, wouldn't be classified as heroes per se, but have such a strong moral code and bond with their ladies I couldn't help but want them to come out on top. Oh, and the women? Every one of them has been through some kind of trauma but still somehow has held onto their positive outlook, their giving personality, and their loving nature. It's a tumultuous set of events that once it has its teeth into you, doesn't let go.

Quantum and Harlow have gone off and purchased a castle for their project. They have decided that the soldiers must have women to link with. A fascinating look into Quantum's mind that is evolving daily and he and Harlow have a lot of work in the lab. Quantum decides that the best way to get the women they need that have values but must be willing to do what was needed for each soldier. Harlow is surprised but happy and then when he finds out the woman he wants is determine to be part of the project because the others are and she would not let have him under any circumstances and Harlow encourages Quantum to assist him. I don't even know how to review this book without giving something away. There is a lot of things that go on in this book. Quantum soldiers were created and now they have a craving that must be fed. The search is on for a sister for each of the soldiers. There is a link that needs to be completed and this cannot happen without the sisters. The world this story was written in is different from any you have read about. You're going to fall in love with these characters. You will want to yell at them, maybe slap them around a little but most of all keep reading it find out what happens to them. There are twists and turns and secrets that will be discovered. i can't wait to see what we get next from this series.

If you've had the privilege of reading books by Lucian Bane then you know the exquisite way that he has of telling a story and how you think that he's going to zig then he zags and he takes us on the most amazing journey. You really need to read this intense mind-blowing story that Mr. Bane has gifted us to experience it for yourself that's why I didn't put any spoilers in my review everyone needs to experience this story for themselves. I would recommend reading this book and I'm totally looking forward to the next book in this AMAZING series.

This enthralling crossover book feels like a natural progression from the amazing RBMC series only the focus is now on the Quantum Kings, lab created soldiers who evolve into sentient beings through intimate relationships with human women. I binge read the riveting RBMC series before starting this book and I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't read that series, do so first, because not only is it fantastic, but those characters all turn up in this book (thank heavens, because I am obsessed with them all!) Quantum Kings: A Royal Bastards MC Crossover is just as fascinating, thrilling, erotic, and mind blowing as RMBC, maybe even more so. I can't wait for the next book.

Quantum Kings is a dark, twisted, and captivating start to The Quantum Kings series. I'm glad I started reading this book early in the morning because once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. It's that good but I recommend you read Lucian Bane's Royal Bastards MC, Newark, NJ series before starting this one so you understand where all the twistedness began. Lucian Bane takes AI to a whole other level that I would have never imagined but wow what a ride. The storyline is captivating, the characters are interesting and well developed and I can't wait to read the rest of this fascinating series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Quantum Kings is a spin off of Royal Bastards MC, Newark, this should be read after that series for best enjoyment and to understand fully. Quantum, an AI, the first of his kind, designed to protect and link with one women but when Butterfly choses someone else he is angry. With his cravings held together by a thread he need find a mate. He is building an army and goes to a convent to find woman to link his brothers and finds his true mate Sister Isla.

Looking forward to more in this series, the author never disappoints.

Quantum is an AI built by Harlow and introduced in Butterfly and Harlow. It picks up from the end of Butterfly and Kult and is setting up for the upcoming books in the series. Quantum is building an army of AI soldiers like him so he is bringing in nuns to link with them just as Butterfly once linked to him. The nun thing is a little odd but I am interested in seeing where the author is going with this series. Never fear, Quantum's brothers, Butterfly, Mary, and Anna will all be present in the story.

It's amazing!

This is awesome and connected to my favorite of favorite the Butterfly series men and women! Oh I missed them all so much but now here they are and even better because of Fetch, Fin and Fathom and all these glorious Sister's! What each woman brings to this beautiful story pulls at my emotions! So much is happening! Now to read the next then back to the Bayou I go and dive into the Syphon King! Great introduction

I'm really interested in this new world of Lucian Banes. Quantum is an evolving AI. A new sentient being built for protection. But as he evolves he understands that he can't protect the world alone. He needs more.....of himself. Extensions of his principles. This is a very steamy book but I would expect no less. A combination of the RBMC and a future AI army makes a fascinating tale.

I've enjoyed Lucian Bane's books since Dom Wars, and the newest MC crossover Quantum Kings doesn't disappoint. A bit dark, A bit angsty, a lot sexy, and AI as you've never thought of.
Quantum, brothers, wives, sisters, and soldiers some we know, some we get to meet. All amazing characters and personalities. With that magic talent that is purely the authors. Enjoyed it immensely and can't wait for the next book.

Quantum is ready to put his plan into action with the help of his brother Harlow but they need women of virtue. Isla is a nun and nurse that has seen a lot. When she and her sister are offered an opportunity she is unsure that she wants to commit until she realizes that it is Quantum that wants her. This is a great book. I look forward to reading more.

I'm so glad I was referred to the author Lucian Banes This was a wonderful story, one that keeps you glued to your book from the start. There is a lot going on in this book , but the story contains drama , action , danger and plenty of steam and you grow more and more attached to Quantum . I'm curious about Lucian's next story, this is in any case a great start to what I hope will be a new series.

Lucian Bane is quickly becoming my favorite author. He weaves a sickly dark and twisted tale that speaks to my dark soul. His alpha male characters are absolutely mouth watering. His heroines always seem to rise to equal the task of managing these men. The stories are enthralling and I'm hardly able to put them down. If you are searching for the next great series to read, I highly recommend these.

5 Stars for my obsessive reading of this book!

I’m new to Lucian Bale’s work but wow, what a new voice and the way he crosses over genres to produce a series starter like he has — this is going to be EPIC!

It took me a chapter or so to get into the right headspace to understand the world but boy, what a read. Sultry, fascinating, futuristic yet grounded in the emotional truths of love. Wow.

This is the one I was waiting for to see the outcome, but now there's another and the spice gets turned up as each page turns. Goodness the storyline is so wonderful and the characters continue to get better. The spice here within this book is delicious and listen ladies you need to read all of these books! They are breathtaking and they keep you on the edge of your seat wanting and needing more!!!!

This is a step in a new direction for me. This is a AI being that has found that he likes humans. Trying to create people to fight the villans. It is so intense, but it sucks you in to reading it. It has all the danger, drama, violence, heartbreak and hope that you expect from Lucian Banes, but jacked up.

Loved the sassy Isla, that got brought in, but I don't hink she knew what was happening. She learned quickly.
