Hi I write erotic historical romance for Harlequin Spice, as well as erotic paranormal romance under the name Sophie Renwick. In 2011, I'll be debuting my mainstream, Victorian set historicals through HQN.

I love talking about books, and have found some new friends, and really good book recommends here on Goodreads. I really love this community.

Anyone looking for the news of this book, I got this from We Love Lisa Kleypas group. In case you aren't a member, and can't view the post, I'm copying from Robin (RBBR)'s post. She contacted Harlequin and here's the reply:

Hello Robin,
Thank you for your inquiry.

We are pleased to learn that you have enjoyed Charlotte Featherstone's Virtues and Sins books.

We have no immediate plans to release VANITY. Additionally, the author for personal reasons, is taking a break from writing altogether.

If further assistance is needed, please contact us.

Sincerely,
Denise

I really hope this gets released one day. The fact that it is Vanity just makes me wanna read it all the more. I would have thought that book 2 would have been Envy, since Mercy was already partially in love with Kian (Envy) by the end of book 1. But we dont even know who Humility is yet. Add Mary's intense desire for Rinion (Vanity) and I am sure it would be an interesting story. But how much longer could Mercy and Kian be kept apart? She was almost ready to give herself to him in book 1, by book 3 (assuming Envy would be book 3) how much of their story would there be left to tell? Unless the author did not intend for it to be a 7 book series. Hmm, now there's a thought.

I doubt this book will ever get published because Featherstone seems to have disappeared which sucks, but hope springs eternal and all that.
