"You're hobbling like a hobbit."
This is my first time reading anything by Rich Amooi and it definitely won't be my last. It was very refreshing to have a romance book that was light hearted, fun and it made a change to not include a sex scene of some description and no bad language.
Lucas is a well known food critic and Zoe is the owner of a food truck- Potato Heaven. They were friends ten years ago but that changed after they were both kicked out of Culinary School. This is a book of second chances and a chance to reconnect, things happen for a reason, when one door closes another one opens.
I read in one go after I was struggling with fibro pain and I couldn't sleep. This was such a fun read and loved all the characters but my favourite was Alexa.

You Chive Me Crazy is the latest fun book from Rich Amooi. I always enjoy that this author writes ‘clean’ books, without language and sex scenes that aren’t needed to tell a good story. This author writes stories that flow very well, with realistic dialogue and an assortment of oddball characters. In this book, you will discover a fluffy Great Wall of China, a ‘character’, “Alexa” who is one of his best creations ever, and two people who are truly meant to be together. Rich has ‘whipped up’ another delightfully tasty dish for his fans to relish.

This was a cute and funny rom com starring Lucas, one of America’s top food critics, and Zoe, owner/operator of Potato Heaven food truck.
I found myself rooting for this couple through all of their food truck festival related challenges and laughing out loud several times. The side characters were great and added a lot of humor and some heartwarming moments to the story. Alexa’s interjections and mentions of Damien’s breath especially took me out 😂.
Includes: second chance romance, grumpy/sunshine, one bed trope, and a LOT of potato-based nicknames

If this is the end result of a maybe concussion, well then, sign me up! Lucas is so thoughtful, caring, and flirtatious, even while Zoe is giving him all the attitude she can muster. Dr. Bonebrake, Damian is a complete butt head and is a prime example that evil does not pay! Marty & Betsy are the sweetest and Hank & Harmony are the cutest in their always couples t-shirts! I think I want to add Rolando as a BFF, he gives the truth and brings the fun! Lucas' food reviews give the impression that there is nothing you could serve him that would satisfy him but he just gives the appearance of a curmudgeon 😀 he's so loveable I'm now on an active mission to find my Lucas. Buy this book, you will not be disappointed, but I already knew that! Mr. Amooi never disappoints and never fails to get it right. Seriously people, you cannot go wrong with purchasing this book! Mr. Amooi strikes again, great job sir! And just think, once you fall in love with You Chive Me Crazy, you then have 19 other books to add to your "to read" list because Mr. Amooi has another 19 laugh out loud rom-coms just as good as this one. Just hit the order button already!

If you've ever read and enjoyed other books from Rich Amooi, you'll probably also enjoy this one by him. Also, if you've never read him before, this would be a nice one to start with.
This is the fifth novel I've read by the author. It's a sweet story featuring very appealing lead characters who I found it very easy to like and root for. Like the other books I'd read by Amooi, 'You Chive Me Crazy' (such a great title!) made me smile and laugh a lot as I read it.
My only complaint about it is that the frequent mentions of Potato Heaven, the food truck owned by one of the main characters, made me crave potatoes A LOT as I read the book! Okay, that's not a real complaint since I love potatoes. I just wish that the food truck was real and that it was parked somewhere near me!
If you're looking for a fun romcom to escape into for a little while, 'You Chive Me Crazy' would be a good and entertaining choice.

I can't emphasize how much I LOVED THIS BOOK! I loved all of the characters (except stank mouth Damien). This is my first Rich Amooi read but please tell me there will be a Rolando book because I loved (I'm saying loved a lot lol) his positive outlook and his friendship with Lucas. LUCAS OMG. Could a man be more perfect?? The way he reconnected with Zoe and made sure to have her back through all of the ups and downs was beautiful. Zoe got on my nerves a bit in the beginning but once we knew what went down with them in chef school then I understood a bit from her perspective. Ugh, I wanted someone to beat Damien's ass! I giggled every time Lucas talked about Damien's bad breath. I loved the owners of the Serendipity Inn and all of the guests. Ahhh this was so stinking cute!!! I'm ready to read more by Rich Amooi. Five stars!

I can cook well enough that I don’t starve, but I’m certainly no culinary genius. Which might be why I’m so fascinated by the inner workings of kitchens and the brains of the people who excel there. That meant that I adored watching Zoe in her element, cooking her heart out for an appreciative audience. I’m also an opinionated cuss and I’m not afraid to share those opinions, so I could easily understand where Lucas was coming from. I really enjoyed seeing this pair rediscover their feelings for one another that had been crushed by what happened in school. And I absolutely loved watching them ferret out the truth about what was going on and making the wrong-doers pay.

Zoe and Lucas are the couple most destined to be together but they are also the couple that are most likely to sabotage that destiny. Separated after a being thrown out of culinary school for an unfortunate mistake, they each found a new career. Zoe is operating a food truck and Lucas is a food critic. They find themselves thrown together at the same event. Realizing they still care for each other they they try to make Zoe a success so she can franchise. Of course, there’s a lot of monkey wrenches thrown in and friends and foes from their past to muddy the waters. This is a fun read with many colorful and delightful characters. You’ll fall in love with Zoe and Lucas and want their story to go on forever. I absolutely loved this book as I do all of Rich’s books.

As usual, this book didn't disappoint. I love the heart and soul this author puts into every book. This one needs a sequel..just putting it out there. Talk about your interesting group of characters. I wanted to get up and cheer! Thank you for writing such feel-good stories!

Lucas and Zoe are meeting after many years. They used to be good friends on the verge of something more but then they were kicked out of culinary school.
You chive me crazy is a very cute and fun read. This book had me laughing out loud. It is a book that kept tempting me to read one more chapter before sleeping and I was laughing so hard on Spinderella that my whole family woke up.
A wonderful book with some great bunch of characters that I loved reading.

This book was so much fun! My first by this author and I’ll definitely be reading more! The characters were great, all really well done, I especially loved Alexa! I really enjoyed the storyline, even though you know what the ending will be it’s still an interesting and quirky journey to get there! I’m really in the mood for a jacket spud now!

This book was a cute and quick read. It's a second-chance romance centered around two people who originally met in culinary school. Male MC Lucas is now a food reviewer/ critic, and female MC Zoe runs a food truck called Potato Heaven. I mostly enjoyed the foodie aspect of the book, which took place around a large food truck festival in California.
There are some likeable secondary characters, but it almost felt like too many. It seemed like Lucas and Zoe were basically never alone. Side note, this ended up being a "clean" romance with absolutely no spice, which is not my jam at all but surely appeals to others.
So, a decent book if you have a few hours to kill and want to read something sweet that will end up making you really hungry.

Another Hit!
I just love reading Rich’s books. He writes humorous romantic stories. His characters are somewhat quirky and the humor laced through out the story is perfectly timed. I found myself laughing out loud when reading this one. I can’t wait for the next one.

Fun, fun, fun!
A delightful, fun romp through the world of food! This story has it all… food, good people, bad people and love!! Travis and Zoe are perfect. Together along with their quirky friends, they prove that believing in yourself always works out! I would recommend this book to everyone who believes in love…oh, and good food!!!

This book was so FUN! I found myself laughing out loud more than once. The characters are lovable and there are just enough twists to make for an interesting story, while still knowing what will happen in the end. The pacing of this book is quick and the writing light hearted. Getting to know the MCs had me rooting for them from start to end!

Laugh Out Loud Romance
Lucas and Zoe and friends had me staying up way too late in order to finish this book the same day I started it. I loved the snarky dialog, the descriptions of people, places, and food. The romance was sweet, sensuous, and clean. The ending was so satisfying for everyone but the bad guys. I am definitely reading more books by this author.

Wonderful Read
Well Rich Amooi did it again. His books bring me laughter and reading enjoyment. He never fails. I love the drama that sometimes happens, the laughter that comes with the story, and the happy ending. In this crazy world this type of a great book saves my attitude from being constantly abysmal. Thank you Rich Amooi 😊

Enemies to lovers. Forced proximity. One bed trope. Add in a quirky cast of secondary characters and a food truck festival, and you’ve got a fun romcom!
This is the second book I’ve read by Rich Amooi and highly recommend them.

Sweet second chance romance that revolves around a food truck festival (I had no idea these existed but now I must find one). I liked the main characters but found the events that take place to be implausible, particularly where the "villain" was concerned, but that's OK as it added a little depth to the story. Otherwise a very light but enjoyable read. Perfect for a vacation read or a rainy afternoon.
