This is a different kind of Christmas story. Dora's brother, sister and Boots were waiting for Dora to begin her Christmas story about Santa and his Reindeer. Santa was outside with his Reindeer which all had colds. Santa knew that they would be taken care of with Ford's family. Diego got blankets and hot carrot soup for them. Santa had another problem. He had no one to pull the sleigh and kiddos would be waking to no Santa gifts. It was looking to be a very sad Christmas
Dora offered the Explore Stars to guide the sleigh. Who would pull it? Santa asks? The stars got where the reindeer go and off Santa, Dora,Boots, and the Explorer Stars went all together passing out presents to make it a Merry Christmas. It grew dark and Santa couldn't see. What to do?
I found this book on Amazon Prime Library and you can find it there, too

It is Christmas Eve and Dora has a visitor that needs helps. Santa's reindeer have colds. So Dora helps Santa deliver the presents while his reindeer recover. Dora recruits the stars to assist. Like normal Dora saves the day. I think the students would enjoy this twist to Christmas stories, especially if they like Dora.

Au REALLY likes this book. We've read it almost every night since her dad picked it up from a yard sale. I do find the premise and emphasis on Santa Claus = presents to be a bit problematic, so this personally isn't my favorite for her to get attached to.

A Dora story book based on the tv show. This one is all about Christmas Eve - and we read it in July! This is a nice Dora themed Christmas Eve exploration of Santa and his ability to deliver toys to all the children and animals of the world. Fun and gentle although a mention of Dora being super tired after staying up all night would be appreciated!!

Merged review:

This is the Dora version of a Christmas Eve, what happens when Father Christmas's reindeer are sick - Diego looks after them, the explorer stars pull the sleigh and Dora and Boots help deliver all the presents to all the children and animals in the world.
I would have liked a mention of how tired Dora was after being up all night but otherwise a fun version even when read in July which is when my daughter picked it!

This is a cute book. Santa's reindeer are sick and can't pull the sleigh, so Dora's stars pull it instead. The only thing I don't like about this book is my son keeps asking the names of the stars, and I don't know their names. Finally last night I just started giving them silly made-up names, which made him laugh.

I really enjoyed this Dora's book. It wasn't like most of them and wanted the child to be interactive; it was more of a storybook which I liked. My 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed it as well. A really neat Christmas book where Dora and her family help Santa on Christmas Eve including not on ly all the children but all the animals as well...

Good Christmas Story

This is a good Christmas story for fans of Dora the Explorer but a little long for those under the age of four years old. Wish there were Dora books that were shorter for those 2 to 4 years old.
