This book is an introduction to sentential logic and first-order predicate logic with identity, logical systems that significantly influenced twentieth-century analytic philosophy. It contains content, practice exercises, symbolic notations, and solutions to selected exercises. After working through the material in this book, a student should be able to understand most quantified expressions that arise in their philosophical reading. Anyone using this book is best advised to make a hard copy for reading and to work through practice exercises with pencil and paper.
I actually found this really interesting despite the technical jargon. Obviously this isn’t a life changing book but now I can better understand other books I want to read.
