The Hell Dimension #2

A Dark Souls Academy: Claiming her mates

Rate this book
Beware of Hell's creatures, they bite.

I've had to hide my whole life from Lucifer and other demons who either want me dead or enslaved for being a succubus. Forced to run and never get close to people. I had one close friend, her cousin, and my brother, Zar. But it was still a lonely life.

Zar and I were surviving just fine until the Light Soul Counsel changed everything. They declared all supernaturals with demon blood to be labeled Dark Souls and sent back to Hell.

First, I lost my brother. Then, they captured me. Now, I lived in a demon academy in Hell named Dark Souls Academy. Go Figure.

I've had to fight every second since getting here, and surviving a demon horde wasn't fucking easy. Do I get a break? Nope.

I saved too many people and denied the horde their sacrificed flesh, so the Dark Counsel, which is led by Lucifer, is coming here to decide what will be the consequence. That can mean a slap on the wrist, or it can mean death. Whatever happens next, I'm done pushing people away. I need to claim my men and create a faction. Well, I will if I'm not sentenced to death, that is. But I have a feeling I won't be able to keep everyone alive this time.

If that isn't enough, there are three dangerous men who I need to stay away from. Not just because they're Lucifer’s sons, but they're also off limits. My demon side doesn't care. My morals do, though. A lot is going to happen within these few days. I just hope I can handle it.

Urban Fantasy 18+
This is a full-length, FAST PACED, Why Choose Paranormal Romance novel. There are Trigger Warnings. This book takes place in Hell, with demons. So, it contains violence, adult language, and strong conduct. There's also physical and sexual abuse, murders, mental health disorders, illnesses, and second character cheating, and ends on a cliffhanger. The FMC has a hero complex and fights her feelings. So, she may cause you some frustration. Also, be warned that Ivy is a self-sacrificing character, almost to the point of naivety.

Book two is all about change. Personalities may change and become darker. They have had to suppress who they really are, so they don't even know themselves.

Book 1 was better..

I was really looking forward to this sequel.
Book 1 was so original, and action packed..
This one has way too much exposition, and nothing really happens for the first half of the book..
Ivy keeps saying she/they will "Figure it out"
but never actually does.
Also every characters back story is more interesting then what's actually happening in this book! Even the end started with a flashback from Dex.
Hope book 3 is more like book 1.

Book two

Ivy's journey has only begun. This paranormal why choose romance has a lot more to give. I do love demon romances.

Seriously so good! I loved how there was a recap in the front of the first book. I re read the first one anyways because the first one got me Hooked. So much drama, emotions, the deep feelings of protecting ppl was written so flawlessly that I fell in love. This maybe a paranormal reverse harem romance but the feelings invoked throughout the 2 books feel so natural. Most ppl will want to protect those who can’t protect themselves in real life so it really made me feel connected to the female lead character even if I don’t have the paranormal side of things, although that would be cool. Lucifer was only in the last few pages, but the lead up had me at the edge of my seat. The female lead character is starting to let more ppl in, she’s also open to the idea of starting a faction. The brothers are falling for her and with every affair their mate hurts them with, the more they fall for this amazing female character. She’s strong, fiesty, holds back when she needs to but stands up when she can get away with it. People are taking notice of her including the teachers. It hurt to read about her friend dying but I think it was the start of something for the female lead character. Plans are forming and I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next. This book also had multiple point of views with most of them being the female lead character. It opened up each character in a way that allowed me to forgive the brothers for bullying her in the beginning. Can’t wait for what’s next.

I’m really enjoying Ivy’s story so far. She’s an interesting FMC. Book has some typos but it’s not awful.

The prologue was beautifully written and I feel like the author was feeling extra prose-y when she worked on it. It absolutely did NOT read like a POV from an 8 year old though.

After that, even though we now know the author is capable of beautiful writing, she continues to have all the characters shrug, nod, and smirk CONSTANTLY at EVERYTHING. It actually got annoying enough to pull me out of the story a few times. Would like to see this edited again to introduce some variety to characters reactions.

From the book:
Kain got closer. “Be careful, he’s not actually a puppy.”
I shrugged. “I’ve seen him big and scary before. He’s still a cutie.”
Kain tilted his head. “When?”
I smirked. “When he attacked Alaric to save me.”
“And he listened?” Kain asked. I just nodded.

OK, ready for the next one

So, this series isn't for everyone. It's well written and the world building is very cool, but it is very dark. Saying that, I love it. I love dark stories and often times there are stories that involve hell and such things and they don't acknowledge how truly despicable these individuals would be. I love Ivy and I love her men. I don't want to give any spoilers so mostly this is a loveletter to the author. Keep it up. I love how you present the horrible things happening in the world. I can't wait for the next one. The darkness is good because we know that there's a light at the end, it might be way way down the tunnel but it's there! Anyway, I love it. I can't wait for more.

*This book was recieved as an ARC. This Review is completely voluntary*

I probably would've finished this book within 12hrs if I hadn't had to work. The story just drags you in and keeps you reading to see what happens next. Ivy is a pain in my ass and I love it. She can't seem to stay out of a fight to protect those she cares for and it's starting to get her the attention of the one demon she doesn't want the attention of. Though I'm starting to get the feeling she absolutely could whip his ass once she grows her faction and claims more mates. Needless to say, if you like dark fantasy with plenty of fighting, fucking and morally questionable characters this is the book for you.

Tosha really did come in swinging when she wrote book two of The Hell Dimension Series. The cliffy that we left off on in book one was brutal and left you dying for more, but in the best way.

Ivy has become one of my favorite FMC's. I love that she is ruthless for the ones she loves and takes care of those that don't have a voice in the world they live in. Add in her mates and the brothers, she will be unstoppable. Lucifer is a horrible excuse of a demon and a father to the brothers. I am 100% chomping at the bit for book 3.

just keeps getting better

Finished book 1 earlier this week and jumped right into book 2. I loved the continued background and character development that happened in this book. I am very interested to see what happens with ivy and the brothers. Firmly hoping tila is taken out in book 3. The relationships between the FMC and each other character are all unique but deep and I love that a book with so many main characters the author was able to build individual feeling relationships.

Why do I love this series so much?! Ivy. Ivy is why. I love a bad ass fmc. But what is the deal with the brothers? I need them to ditch the bit** and get with ivy. I love how they are learning more about savored and love when it’s their point of view and we can see just how much they really care for her already.

It's okay

The story drags in places and it's not much of a continuation of the first. At this pace they will be stuck in the school for a century.

Overall it wasn't a bad read. It does need some better editing though. There were quite a few mistakes and a couple places where words were still marked for editing.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. I received it as an ARC for an honest review.

This book put me through all of the emotions. I was laughing, crying, anxious, and yelling at the character at different points. There was so much character growth that enhances the plot and moves the story along, and I’m excited to see what book 3 brings to the table.

Please read the trigger warning from the author. There are a lot of very uncomfortable things in this book including r*pe.
The writing is amazing and the strong main character from book one continues to stay strong in this book. A tiny bit less action compared to book one and some very emotional moments but the writing and plot will hold your attention throughout the entire book

This series is surprising me, which is nice. The plot is bigger than just an academy bully romance. The characters aren't one dimensional. Her relationships have good healthy-ish foundations so far. I like how the Marnie character from the first book isn't completely forgotten, she clearly meant something and wasn't forgotten.

The book starts with a recap of book 1 which I really appreciate. However a lot of the beginning of the book actually incorporates all of what happened in book 1..I skimmed a lot of it. Then there's a bunch of sexy times that I also skipped. So I looked at reviews of the next 2 books which appear to have the same problem. For me I've lost interest.

it wasn’t bad i just feel like it was just missing something. also one extra star knocked off because of the sex scene where the fmc was covered in shit. i’m not sure if that’s a kink? or what? or if that was honestly the best the author could come up with. not sure but it was painful to read.

I loved book one and this one was better! The love, the fear, the joy and the pain of not just surviving in hell but thriving for our fmc and her people . . . . It’s genius. Tosha Y Miller has an amazing talent, I can’t wait for the next instalment!

This is my second time reading this, the world is so unique which I love. Ivy is a badass and an amazing character to read about. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was the author explaining things we already knew, even at 83% in this book she’s explaining about the classrooms that they’ve used since the first book.

Great Book

This was such a good book. I did not want to end now I have to wait a whole month until the next one comes out but it’s worth it. This is also the first series that I’ve ever read from this author, but I will definitely be reading more.
