All the short stories in this book were very engaging. I really liked "Cheap at Half Price", "Not For Sale", and the last story where you get to choose your own ending. I loved how all the stories had an unexpected twist. I would highly recommend this book.

Picked this up at a hotel in the Cook Island - take a book read a book . Anyway easy reading and a bit dated. And I realised it is actually 12 short stories . Some ending are predictable but I did love the one about the woman trying to secure her financial
Situation before the divorce . She persuades the husband and a lover to offer 1/2 million each for a necklace. She tricks them with sexy clothes and sex. Men are so shallow and stupid, lead by their dicks! Easy reading and perfect for
Planes and trains.
Will Look out for a more up to date book next time.

I truly enjoyed Archer's book of 12 short stories! Each was as entertaining as the last! Each had in depth characterization and plot that made me ponder those elements in real life. Bravo!
