Stygian Automations has come out with a brand new line of smartphones introducing the Dark-Tech line. The pictures it takes are extremely real. But people have gone missing, and each missing case has had this specific phone in common. Once the CEO and founder of the company, Greg Specter, goes missing, lots of questions arise, and soon more people go missing without a trace.

Jeremy is the owner of The Oylmpic Flame Bar and Grill. He only has two workers and is owned by his uncle Victor. After Jeremy's dad passed away, Victor took over but never did anything. Jeremy is quiet and is carrying a dark secret. He's hiding something in the restaurants basement, and soon enough, people will find out what it is.

All of these characters have one thing in common. They are connected to The Dark Glow from The Triangle Forest. Where did it come from? What does it do? Can it be stopped? Who can you trust? Never follow The Dark Glow!

If you loved the X-files, then this is right up your alley! With some sci-fi elements, this was spooky! I really enjoyed the multiple POVs, and the characters were very likable. The setting and tone of this book were executed well. I loved how technology was used in this! Technology can be scary, and this book sure proved that. Lots of family secrets, greed, and pain within these pages. Flora did an excellent job, and I'm excited to read more from him!

Ed Flora is a brilliant horror writer who gives a fresh take on subgenres in horror by melding them with other genres and subgenres. Accompanied by great characters, he doesn't miss in writing captivating books. I read his third novel last year, and after reading his second, I can see how he's grown as an author. While his latest his far superior, this is still above and beyond a worthy read for fans of investigative stories and Lovecraftian weirdness.

Happy to have picked up an autographed copy of The Triangle Forest! I feel like the plot was extremely original. There are several POVS immersing you in the depth of the narration, and they’re all easy to follow. The build up to the ending was exhilarating. I read this pretty quickly because I couldn’t stop wondering what was going to happen next. A brilliant display of cosmic horror, support this author and snag your copy!

Cosmic horror, think Xfiles or The thing.

I was fortunate enough to meet the author of this novel at NJ Horror Con and receive a signed copy of the book. I was very drawn to the idea of a modern Lovecraftian horror and could not wait to start reading. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this story, though I did not dislike it either. The plot itself is interesting, and the characters are somewhat engaging. However most of the book feels random and half-planned, and the writing is robotic and suffers from an absent voice. Because of this, it took me ages to finish this novel; reading felt like work. Nevertheless, there is a good story here, and for diehard Lovecraft fans, I guess I would suggest at least searching this one up and maybe even giving it a try.

This book kept me up numerous nights like what’s next ! It is a very intriguing scary story with a nice sci-fi feel. I love the fact that the author switched perspectives so it is told through different eyes. Don’t let the blue light catch up. Haha but i’d fully recommend this book to read or even to listen as an audiobook because the different tones used throughout were amazing so you didn’t have to wonder who was who.

Flora does a fantastic job meting out the clues to the mystery of what secret lies in the Triangle Forest. In a tale that features Scary grandmothers, private eyes, suspect tech and blue goo! As a fan of X-Files and Fringe I enjoyed that the vibe gave me some of those vibes.

I would have liked a little more character work to build up the characters, but it felt like this wasn’t the end of the story so that might be addressed in future installments.

This book was also a booktok recommendation, but this was a good one. It contains THE passage from any book that is the most terrifying thing I’ve ever read. It’s just one passage, but spiders coming out of a cigarette is my limit, apparently. This is a cosmic horror and sci-fi the likes of X-files. There aren’t many winners in this book, but it was well written, IMO.

This multi pov book was insane. Honestly, it was a wild ride. When I finished this book, I literally said, "What the hell did I just read?"

The beginning took me a second to get into, but once I got an understanding of what was happening, I became obsessed.

The ending was what I wanted it to be, even Ezra's destiny. I feel like it was all meant to be.

Really fun book! I’m a sucker for some mystery involving weird hapoenings, private investigators, and regular people caught in the mix. Wasn’t the strongest ending but I felt satisfied regardless. Looking forward to what Ed does next!

This book was brilliant. There's just one problem. I can't definitively tell you what it's about.

I know what happens, and it's compelling and intriguing, and very well written. It kept me captivated in the 48 hours it took me to read it. But by the end, I can only say that I assume it's aliens, but might not be. Either way the book was friggin' brilliant!
