I have not read Mary Higgins Clark in a long time, but I have always enjoyed her books. This one did not disappoint. The ending was a bit weak and it ended a bit abruptly, but the story line was strong and suspenseful with a good amount of tension. It was hard to put the book down, because I wanted to keep reading, to find out what was going to happen. The characters are not too developed, but this author is all about the plot and suspense and the twist that she throws in there to throw her readers off balance. Mary Higgins Clark is an author that I do not get tired of reading.

So this is my second Mary Higgens Clark book that I've read and I'm just blown away that a sweet looking old lady could write something like this. The amount of murders and violence happening in her books is unbelievable coming from a sweet looking lady. Don't get me wrong, I love her and her books it just amuses me to no end. Definitely need to read more of her books!
