Single Dad Lycan/Human romance...

Marley is one year into her establishing a new life in a small town, following years of DV with a Lycan where she lived formerly. She is beginning her first year as a Kindergarten teacher in an integrated shifter/human school, and has been befriended by two shifter women who also work at the school. Shifters are out of the closet [clawset] and there is bias and discrimination to be found, on both sides, but some are working on peaceful coexistence and positive integration between the two, particularly in the place she lives now. Cole is a shifter business owner with a human best friend that goes way way back. He's determined to move the culture forward in terms of integration, and has his son attending the school where Marley is now teaching, so that his son will not grow up with the old biases. Unfortunately, Marley's ex-boyfriend has found her and has plans for her... and a stalker, that isn't her ex, is after her too.

We have a lot of differing agendas woven through our story. And we get a lot of support and sympathy for victims of DV and discrimination. We navigate a lot of emotionally related issues to families, trust, betrayal, lack of support, etc. But we also don't have a clear end in this tale. We have the beginnings of our HEA, but are immediately thrown into a cliffhanger for a book or books to come. The story seemed much longer than it needed to be, for a single story, but if it is the first in a series of books in a set then it laid the foundation well. It's a solid story. The stress is a big much if you have triggers, but otherwise it's a thorough meandering.

First things first, this is not the end! I believe that this might be a duet or trilogy but all you really need to know for now is that there is more to come. Marley has come out of horrific relationship with a shifter but she has managed to not let it affect her view of shifters. Though she would not readily admit it, it has however, very much affected how she views realtionships. She is looking for a fresh start and has moved towns. A new school year, new class and maybe a new shot at love. Cole has been a single dad almost from the start. He is really close to his little boy and is struggling a bit with him starting Kindergarten. He's not expecting the punch to his gut when he meets the new teacher though. Could things be starting to go his way? Truthfully, not really... There is lots happening here. As with any Roxie Ray book, the plot for the couple is strong throughout but there are all the interwoven characters and general happenings too. So involved but not so much that you lose track of it all. Brilliant!

Forbidden wolf daddy is Cole and Marley's romance full of steam,mystery,suspense,bad guys,lots of and of course lots of romance.
Marley is the new kindergarten teacher,she is starting fresh after ciming out of a bad relationship.Cole is the hot shifter daddy of Noah one of her student's.
Loved their meet cute and there was an instant attraction between them,but they try to fight it so they don't break the rules.
Dating a student's dad is against school rules,Marley breaks that rule.When her past catches upto her will Cole stay with her or will he turn away from her?
This book ends in a cliffhanger and i cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
As usual could not put the book down was hooked from the first page.It has steam,tears,laughter,mystery,
suspense,danger and an amazing support network of friends and family.

A Great Series Starter!

Marley had come from an abusive relationship and had moved to start a new chapter in her life until she literally bumped into Cole and instant attraction occurred.

Cole was a one parent shifter who’d not had any interest in dating since he split from his wife but as soon as Marley literally bumped into him, he was interested in her.

A great start to the series, an emotional read, new relationships, learning to trust, dealing with issues that keep happening, wonderful characters with a cute young pup called Noah who steals your heart, some steamy moments with a very surprising ending all which combined gives you one gripping read.

Looking forward to the next in the series!.

First off I loved this book and the chemistry between the two main characters Marley and Cole. Both characters have to deal with past hurt and trauma. Cole from his ex wife who left and Marley from her shifter ex boyfriend who was abusive to her. She ran away from him a year ago but now it seems her past may have caught up with her. When a stalker breaks into her house and leaves a cryptic note she can't help wondering if she should run again. Will Cole and her new friends help protect her and stand up to her past? Will Cole and Marley get a chance to have their HEA and heal from their past. Also will Marley's job as Noah's teacher complicate things between them? Check this one out to see. Note this ends on a bit of a cliffhanger to be resolved in the next installment of the story.

This is the start of Marley and Cole's story. Both have been through difficult relationships, hers an abusive ex and his with a genuinely unpleasant individual.

Marley arrived in town with nothing except a small bag of clothes and an old laptop. If not for Lana, she would have been in dire trouble. Despite being knocked down so low she still manages to come back cheerful and looking to the future. Bumping into Cole moves her in a wonderful new direction. The instant heat between the two is thwarted by an unknown stalker and the reappearance of her ex.

Can they build a relationship together and overcome their problems?

This is the first part of a really gripping, hot new series and ends in a cliffhanger.

Once bitten twice shy is how the saying goes. Marley has double the trauma and none of the fun. Cole is trying to make sure his child is well rounded and cultured on both sides of the fence. Storyline is nice. A lot of undercurrent that I liked. Explanations that sound like a series is brewing. Possible triggers for those with previous relationships that were not nice. There is the wolf clan for support for Cole as things evolve being a single dad. Good read. Full length book giving the ins and outs of how this storyline is going.

5 stars of Roxie Ray awesomeness

Roxie Ray has done an absolutely brilliant job with Cole & Marley's story. The way the author wrote the story had me completely hooked from the very start. The chemistry between the single dad & the kindergarten teacher is hot. Marley has a rule of not dating shifters. Will she break that rule for Cole? Will they get a chance or will the evil lurking in the shadows destroy it all?
The story does leave you slightly hanging & I can't wait to see what happens next.

I absolutely love the shifter stories and this one also falls under . There is action, danger, drama, passion and plenty of steam. I loved Cole and Marley. He's a single dad and she's a kindergarten teacher, the chemistry and attraction is right between them, but Marley has a rule against dating her students' shifters and fathers. Will she take the step and still choose Cole and find their happiness together? Highly recommended and can't wait for the next installment.

Marley got away from her abusive boyfriend Wyatt and became a teacher at a shifter school on a run before class she ran into Cole. Thinking she had a stalker then finds out that it was true her home broke into twice stayed at Cole’s place, his son was in her class. Wyatt came to town and went and hired Cole’s company but when Cole found out who he was he said no to working for Wyatt. Had a few problems but they were straightened out. Good book!.

This is the 1st book in the series.

Marley is a new teacher in a small town, she literally runs into Cole when leaving a coffee shop. He is a shifter and the father of one of her students. They are instantly attracted to each other but try to fight it so they don't break any rules with the school. However, Marley left a bad relationship when she came to town, what happens when her past comes to town, can they have a HEA in the end.

An interesting ,suspenseful,with some action and steam..A woman who had a toxic and manipulative ex and she's also a kindergarten teacher and a wolf shifter whos over protective to his son..their attraction and chemistry is strong but Marley's past is catching up and her peaceful days she got become a nightmare..looking forward to the continuation of this book..

Forbidden Wolf Daddy is the first book in new series Breaking Pack Rules and it was a great read. Great character building and entertaining interactions, the storyline, the plot was very developed with some suspense, drama, steam and of course romance, the exact amount to make this book good and interesting. Definitely recommend.

Marley and Cole's story is the start of the Breaking Pack Rules series and leave you on the edge.

Marley is a human teacher, Cole is an overprotective shifter father. The clash between human and shifter is there, but the connection between Marley and Cole is strong. Soon her past finds her leaving you as the mystery and suspense swirls around.

I enjoyed this story where Marley meets Cole and romance begins. Ok that is how it is supposed to work but there are problems, troubles, exes, and shifters. It made me laugh and groan but I found it to be a fun and entertaining read. Had to see what trouble these two would find due to their past that comes back to cause trouble.
