“Find yourself, and you won’t need someone to complete you. You’ll feel happy, sated, and whole”
The book is deep, poignant and touching. There is a bitter truth of life and making a choice between a rock and a hard place. The primary theme of the book is relationship; love, priorities and healing. It’s not easy to pick the pieces of your tormented heart but when it’s the only choice you have been left with, you mend your heart. You must make a choice and heal yourself over time. After betrayal/broken trust, is it easy to forgive someone? You do ask yourself questions, right? The book has summarised all those feelings so well. Sometimes we must listen, talk with someone and most importantly find ourselves before we become oblivion to ourself only.
Oh my heart and soul! Ry did the damn thing with the words in this book. I always say when it comes to poetry, certain books will reach me when the time is right and the timing of this book is spot on. I needed every bit of this! Ry you are incredible! I don’t even have the right words to express how amazing this book is. Definitely worth the wait and worth the weeping I did. I feel whole by the end of your books and took one is the cherry on top. Great job!
