perfect book to read while on holiday in the NT. Showcases writing from a diverse range of people with some compelling poetry and short stories.

This selection of writing, poems and stories, from the Northern Territory showcases a wide range of contributors. Some pieces are produced in English and in their original language. Themes run from the natural world, to the magical or traditional realm, to the angry or tragic reality. Having recently spent two weeks in Alice Springs and the surrounding desert definitely added to my appreciation of this collection. I would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.
