This was an excellent book on one man’s story of surviving the Armenian Genocide. The amount of time, research, and very difficult conversations that the author went through in order to actually, physically follow her grandfathers footsteps through hell and survival really shows in this book. I loved how she shared her journey alongside his. I loved how she included his journey back to his old life, and starting over. I loved the audiobook. Thank you, Dawn, for preserving history.
