A book about yoga and meditation by Peter Max, a disciple of Swami Satchidananda and Sivananda. Colorful art to go along with very thoughtful passages. Signed by author Peter Max in 1981.
Seems like the Swami tried to make his message as simple as possible, so it seems a little dumbed-down. Also, one has to contend with Peter Max's artwork, so you're constantly expecting someone to burst into "Yellow Submarine" or "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," which while not bad, definitely detracts from any depth or insight to the book's message. It's a little like trying to take a philosophical/religious book seriously with illustrations by Keith Haring or Paul Frank - just not easy to do.
