One of Rhodan's mutants, Jost Kulman, is picked up from the planet Swoofon. He brings along an alien animal that looks like a Dachshund called Muzzel. And Muzzel soon becomes Pucky's friend.
Typical Darlton humor. Which means, not really funny.

Now, it turns out one of the two must be a Spy. A bit thin for a detective story. But still, at least it is something different. And I liked the fact that it is Atlan who solves the “mystery”.

This was written in 1962. So maybe one should not be surprised that Darlton puts quotes around “computer language”. And the robot regent of Arkon, we learn, weighs two million tons or so.

Normally I do not bother to read the other stuff they put in the books to fill the pages. But here there is a nice poem by Forrest Ackerman (the guy responsible for these books) called A Résumé of Rays.
