A determined rapture will do whatever is necessary to convince his lady love that you don’t need wings to fly. Lynn Regis isn’t looking for anything but her newly released condors, when she hikes into the Grand Canyon National Park. Stumbling upon poachers looking for her endangered birds is the last thing the plus-sized beauty expected to find. She is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her condors from the hunters, but who’s going to save her? When a sexy as sin man with eyes as sharp as a hawk comes to her rescue, Lynn has to decide whether he’s friend or foe. In the depths of the canyon, the wrong decision could mean her death. The moment Talon laid eyes on her, he knew Lynn was mate material. He's not about to allow poachers to get in his way. With only three days to seduce her and convince her that they’re meant for each other, this determined raptor will do whatever it takes to convince his lady love to come fly with him. Talon is a Phantom Warrior from the Claw Clan (he is a giant raptor shape-shifter).
He is given 3 days on Earth to try to find a mate. While he is still on his ship he is scouting possible locations and comes across the Grand Canyon. There he sees Lynn, an ornithologist researching released condors, taking a bath in the river. He is immediately captivated and decides to go down there and meet her in hopes she might be The One. He shows up naked in the river near her and after the appropriate freaking on her part she realizes that he is HOT and she is more attracted to him then anyone she has ever met, and WHY does he smell so good (yea, mating pheromones!). And the feelings seem to be mutual.
Throwing caution to the wind, Lynn decides to invite him back to her tent where he rocks her world and then bonds with her (still without telling her what he is). They separate the next day, but when he finds her again she is already starting to change like him (bond mates take the form of their Phantom mates).
He convinces her he isn't crazy by flinging her off a cliff so she can change, which seems a bit drastic. They then copulate in bird form (thank god that wasn't in detail), change back and carry on.
Now there's just the small matter of convincing her to leave her home and go back to his planet...forever.
Lynn studies birds and does a program to relocate them into the wild. While she is out camping and checking on her Condors and to see if they mated, she runs into a gorgeous man. His name is Talon and she can't see what he see's in her as she's not some skinny model but who is she to turn down some steamy sex with a hot guy? That's all she thinks it is. She can't bring herself to believe that he would want anything more. She also keeps seeing a huge bird and she has no clue what it is as she has never seen a bird so big.
Talon is on earth to find his mate. He found Lynn before he even left the ship and knew that she was his mate. When he finds her he knows that he has to put her through a series of tests to be sure and he only has three days so he has to move quickly. When he knows for sure he still has not told her the truth. That he is an alien/shifter and his other form is a Raptor and that she is his mate. By the time she finds out the truth it may be too late.
I think that I liked this one the best so far. Although I think that Talon should have come clean a bit sooner. I think that the books get better and better as the series progresses. It is a short read but it is a great read. I highly recommend reading. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I give this book 4.5 Hearts!

Short, erotic read. Talon is a Raptor shapeshifter who sees Lynn one day as she is hiking and exploring in the Grand Canyon to find condors and save them. Talon is also a space traveler who is looking for a mate. Lynn does not realize that their mating now gives her the ability to change into a raptor until she can change and fly with Talon.
Following the same premise as the first two books, this was a quick read and enjoyable. What I enjoyed most about this book was the fact the woman was not perfect, extra pounds along with sensitivity to her body type. If only in reality men with a warriors physic actually gave the average woman a second glance.
Liked this one as well. Not bad being the third in the series. Like how it all links with the other two. This one too is about a girl that isn't your normal slim girl to get a guy. Like how the author gives all shapes and types of the character in this book to find love. I read again like the first I have.
