Another recent book on Africa, by a European academic, this time from the Netherlands. Very much like "Africa's Moment", but shorter and more opinionated, and a little more historical context. If you read one book, I'd recommend Africa's Moment, it's more thorough and does a better job of analysis of big issues today in Africa.
