Angel Light

Angela's Answer

Rate this book
Meet Angela-small-town-spiritual detective extraordinaire....

Angela Clarkson has always been intrigued by mysteries, but lately her life has turned into one mystery after another. Her friends in the horse club are giving up riding horses so they can ride around in cars and hang out at the mall. Angela's family doesn't seem to speak her language anymore, or maybe it's that she suddenly doesn't understand theirs. Her little brother and his crazy friend's weird obsessions are constantly starling her.

Then a mysterious stranger gains a powerful influence over her best friend; this stranger turns out to be at the center of a secret involving her little town-one that concerns the line drawn between heaven and hell. Angela and her friends get caught in the middle of a conflict between spiritual beings who are keepers of that secret. Her greatest mystery is solved when she learns the difference between an angel of light and an angel of lies.

The first in the Angel Light  young adult fantasy series, each book leads readers to biblical answers to teen's spiritual questions, threading each issue through a different adventure story. This first book answers the question of where young people can find sure answers in a world that accepts anything spiritual, including crystals and mediums, as being valid ways to express "Christian" faith.

It's surprisingly good. It's a short read but I really liked the disturbing scenes.

Great book for horse loving teenagers! It's a little creepy at moments and the last few chapters include some spiritual warfare. But there are some great explanations of prayer, the Bible, and faith. The chapters are short and it's an easy read, but I really enjoyed it.
